Remarks

I love college faculty, some of them are problematic but it usually happen in other colleges too. I didn't face any problem regarding infrastructure in my session but still want it to be improved..

Entrance Preview

I got admission on Merit basis. I opted this college because it is nearby to my house. Admission process was based through online. After calling up they provide just admission letter and you've to pay fees and admission is done.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love Mathematics only in the course curriculum. It is Awesome. I want to remove Psychology and Sociology.

Internships Opportunities

They don't provide internship. Faculty should charge free for providing internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

Average package given by mechanical companies is Rs. 1 to 1.5 lac per annum that is not good enough. Most of the students are placed in IT companies from my batch.

College Events

G quasar and G fest and many more Cultural and Sports events are organised in the campus. Yes, college fests are always useful for management skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fees is Rs. 1.59 lac per year and hostel fees is Rs. 1 lac per year. Yes, it is affordable.

Campus Life

Ultimate college life. Equivalent gender ratio with different culture belonging students. Under-constructed buildings.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Very bad accommodation.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Himanshu is one of the alumni who helped me a lot in my studies and extracurriculars.

Exam Structure

They conduct 2 internal exams for 50 marks each and they convert it into 30 marks. 20 marks for attendance and assignments.

Faculty

Most faculties are from IIT's. They are very helpful but few of them are pathetic. Archana Ma'am (Mathematics) and Sanjeev Sir (Mathematics) are my favourite faculty members.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
