NSUT survival

I appeared in JEE main and I got a rank of 14377 CRL then after I applied to JAC Delhi. There are more than 7 rounds in JAC Delhi and I got Electronics and Communication engineering in JAC Delhi. After document verification and fee payment, we have allotted roll numbers and email addresses.

In NSUT course curriculum are quite old and in ECE it is very tough to maintain a good CGPA, so be aware of that. Faculties are educated enough but they are not passionate about teaching. Almost all the faculties are PhD qualified here. Talking about the examinations they are not very tough you can start studying 15 days before your end-sems.

The companies visit our college for intern also but they are less compared to placements but still good. The stipend they offer is in the range of 20k per month to 2.5 lakhs per month. Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple offer interns.

Placements are quite good in NSUT. The highest package in 2021 was 1.50 Cr which was offered by Google. Many MNCs visit our college for placements like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, TI, Zomato, OYO, Paytm etc. The average package offered in 2021 was something around 15 LPA.

In NSUT fee is quite high and is not affordable for every student but there are scholarships from Edistrict Delhi in which students get 25%/50%/100% scholarships based on family income. Merit cum means finance assistant is the scholarship from Delhi Govt. in which for income <= 1 lakh will get 100% scholarship and if 1 lakh < income <= 2.5 lahks will get 50% scholarship and 2.50 lakh< income <= 5 lakhs will get 100% scholarship from Edistrict Delhi.

There are many clubs and societies here in NSUT. Students can participate in any society based on their interest. Also, there is a huge library and more than 2.5 lakh books here in NSUT. The campus is very natural and full of fresh air so very good college life. Apart from that there is a huge sports complex in which basketball, football, Cricket and many more games can be played.

There are only 2 types of rooms here - single and double rooms. Facilities in the hostel are fair enough to survive. You will get a study table, chair, and Almira in every room. But the mess food is quite average- not too good.
