What Students Say

Likes

Teachers are very supportive
Good placements
Great opportunities and exposure

Dislikes

Very costly
No nearest metro station
5 canteen but very costly

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Currently, I am in my B. Tech information technology 3rd year of engineering. During first-year teachers usually don't pressure too much on students. In the second year I started coding there is a very good atmosphere of coding.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 133000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for one year B.Tech program is 133200, Which is include 117200 tuition fee, 15000 rs for the university examination fee and 1000rs for activity. But every year fee structure gets changed for new admission. It's the fee structure for students who had taken admission in 2020.

Campus Life

3.5

The social life on campus is average not too good not too bad. But the best part is there is no problem with attendance. Just be assured at least taking 3 theory and 3 labs that would be enough for the whole semester.

Admission

MaIt is one of the best colleges at GGSIPU. It takes admission on the bases of student jee mains rank. And also one can take admission by CET exam which is conducted by the GGSIPU itself. If any student is obc , sc, or st category they have an extra advantage for getting admission with good branches like CS or IT.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
