Course Curriculum Overview

4

I always liked computers and wanted to study and learn all the possible things to learn about these devices. This made me choose this course. The student: faculty ratio is good, it's somewhat around 14:1. 50% of teachers are Ph.D. and some are doing it. We have one end sem exam, two-cycle tests and unit tests, and vivas and lab demos assigned with each cycle test and end sem.

Internships Opportunities

3

Many companies visit for the on-campus drives in the 3rd sem. You can either get into those or do some research internships at other colleges or in the same college. You get paid as per your skills and knowledge.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students get eligible from the 7th sem to sit on campus drives. Many known companies visit the campus, Amazon, Deloitte, Jio, etc. are names. The highest LPA was around 47 LPA and the average was around 12 LPA. Almost 90% get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is pretty high. You ought to pay a total of around 3 lacs per annum. You can avail of some scholarships as per your state or at the nsp portal. You can do your internships for which an entire semester is designated. You can get paid around 20-30000 rupees in these internships.

Campus Life

3.5

Life at college is really fun. Annual fest and tech fest are conducted near the end of September or the beginning of October. Many varieties of books are available in the library. You get some amenities in classrooms. Sports and extracurricular activities are fine. You get nice fields, and nice weather to play your sports. There are multiple clubs you can get into, FORCE, EPMOC, Literary Club, and many more are there. You can even create your club.

Hostel Facilities

4

You get a bed, wardrobe, a table and a chair in your room. You have a balcony with great scenery out there. Meals are fine. There is a veg as week as a nonveg dining option. The registration process is quiet easy and everybody gets allotted a room.

Admission

You can get into IIIT Una by scoring around 97 percentile in the jee main exam. You can the application form on jee main official site and pay the fee needed. You do get a reservation benefit. The admission process is a bit lengthy, first, you give multiple exams based on your best you are judged then you need to apply for different colleges and you get selected into one as per your results.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
