Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a bit outdated but it's interesting. Faculty to student ratio is 1:60. Faculties are experienced but teaching quality depends on teacher to teacher. Term exams are very easy and can be cleared even with slight hard work at the end. Questions are repeated from previous years for the majority of the subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are generally provided at the end of the third year. Around 50 companies visit the campus to provide internship opportunities. Major companies include Microsoft, sprinkler, and Adobe. Internships are not provided to all.
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent at DTU. Major 500 companies visit the campus every year. 4th-year students are eligible for appearing in the placement process. last year the placement percentage was 97.9 percent. My plans after my degree are to join civil services.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are generally 220000/ yr on average. It is hiked rarely. But hostel fees were increased by 300% in the last academic session. Students with low income are provided scholarships based on the interview.
Campus Life
The social life on campus is really good. There are various events throughout the year which include tech fest, film festival, sports fest, and inter-college events. The library has a wide variety of books, but the quantity is limited. There are various clubs and societies as well like pratibimb, IEEE, scee, Macs, etc.
Admission
The admission is on the basis of the rank obtained in the joint entrance examination (Jee). Eligibility is pcmb/pcmc must be taken in 10+2 or equivalent. Then there would be JAC counseling for the admission process. JAC is a body that holds counseling for some of the top colleges in Delhi such as Delhi Technological University, Netaji Subash University of technology, IIIT Delhi, and DSEU.
