Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty are assigned to teach required courses, based on experience, preferences, and seniority. They also have elective courses that are then put through the curriculum approval process. Sometimes faculty rotate assignments such that all individuals get a chance to teach intro and advanced courses.
Internships Opportunities
Internships and related information are not permitted to be shared due to college policies. However, the majority of projects in good companies are related to pharma and medical devices. Companies provide two months of internship.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for summers after nearly completing the first trimester, and finals are held in the second year. Companies at various levels offer handsome salaries and good positions for our course. PPO/PPI is available to eligible students, with the decision made solely by the company. According to the rules, information about the package and the company cannot be shared, but big companies come and almost all of the students who want to work are placed by the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for cost varies from year to year, but now it is nearly 18 lakhs. The admission department also provides assistance with loans and other data. Various scholarships are available in college depending on merit and performance. Full support is provided by the college in terms of tuition and hostel-related charges.
Campus Life
In college, there are numerous groups and committees to join. There are approximately 15-20 significant clubs, cells, and committees present. They hold festivals, activities, and contests to keep students interested and their minds sharp. The library has a good selection of books, and in the event of a pandemic, books are sent to students' homes. Digital technology and all other necessary comforts are available. Our college has a well-developed infrastructure and a wide range of cultural and sporting activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Life is not satisfactory as per my experience. The administration is also not aware of the hostel problems. I will not recommend the hostel for the juniors. It is better to take PG and flats nearby the college.
Admission
The admission process was smooth and I opted through NMAT 2021. The exam was of moderate level. The quantitive section was a little tough compared to the verbal section. It was overall a moderate level. The cut-off was 232.
Interview Experience
NMAT was the written (MCQ-based) test, followed by GD/PI. The PI round includes scientific (i.e., previous education/job) and basic market-related questions. The admissions procedure is simple. You must pass the cut-off, which varies according to curriculum and year. A sectional cutoff is also required to be cleared.
