Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good as it imparts practical learning and knowledge. I chose this curriculum to gain knowledge from peer learning and industrial experience. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:15. Teachers are highly qualified and everything was scheduled and timely done.

Internships Opportunities

Summer internship starts from the second month of joining and this year it has exceeded far from expectations. Major opportunities come for marketing and finance. Live projects are also available during the course.

Placement Experience

Final placement is better than summer placement as the more renowned company comes. From the second month itself, the summer internship process starts, and the final placement too. 100% of students get placed at top companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the 2022-24 batch are around 18lakhs and this comes after a hike from the previous year. Financial assistance is available for students in need. Campus placement is doing well and improving and companies are coming on board.

Campus Life

Campus life is very happening as clubs and committees are very active here and have regular tasks and events. A sports committee is also there that organizes events and there's a basketball ground as well.

Admission

I took NMAT and then after clearing the cutoff for NMIMS BANGALORE I gave the interview and got selected. The form is available on the NMAT site and it cost around 2500 rupees you can give the test only once.

Interview Experience

Yes, there was a test named NMAT which had three sections and each section has a cutoff along with the overall cutoff. After clearing the cutoff, there will be an interview and then later the final list will be out.

I liked the environment and culture form diverse backgrounds

ISME: THIS IS ME !!

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

ISME PGDM REVIEW

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

I chose NMIMS Bangalore over KJ Somaiya from where i got an offer as well because NMIMS is a brand name, the batch size compared to KJ Somaiya is one third and the average placement is higher as well. One other reason would be the high cost of living in Mumbai. I applied to KJ Somaiya and TAPMI as well. Rejected KJ Somaiya and didn’t get shortlisted for TAPMI. I got rejected from TAPM, their shortlisting criteria completely changed and I couldn’t do anything to change it. The admission process for NMIMS Bangalore is basically by clearing the NMAT exam, I scored around 230 and the cut off for it was i think around 224. NMIMS only take NMAT for consideration. The overall admission process is smooth only. Once you get the offer letter you just have to upload your documents and they will upload them in sometime...Read More

Students have to appear for NMAT which is specially organized by NMIMS University and different campuses have different cutoffs for NMAT. Once a student is eligible for a campus, he/she has to sit for 2 rounds of interviews usually, the GD round or a written test on an impromptu topic and an interview round.
