Course Curriculum Overview
I choose computer science because the future is fully operated by the intelligence of machines and programming it. I personally find it interesting in writing the logic of programs. Faculty to student ratio is abundant and no scarcity in that thing. faculty who teach us core subjects are doctorates and knowledgeable persons. regular continuous assignments are 2 weeks once and 1 midterm and 1 end term and the difficulty of these exams is so less and we can easily pass the exams if we read a week before the whole subject.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered by a lot of companies giving 30000 per month and I personally didn't attend any. but to my senior internships are given for 6 months with 30000lpa so the talk is internships are offered well in LPU.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from the 3rd-year 2nd semester and so many companies come to LPU last year nearly 800 companies visited lpu and the average package is 5Lpa. The highest package last year is 64lpa. 90% of Students are easily placed from the LPU cse branch especially. My plan is to do a decent job after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 72,200 per semester of which 2500 is exam fees per semester and hostel fees with mess are 100000 per year. I didn't get any part-time jobs but you can work for college and earn money part-time .you will have roles to work in libraries and labs.
Campus Life
Campus life is so good at LPU and the annual fests are two named ONE INDIA and SPECTRA. ONE INDIA is a good competition and fest where 29 states' cultures meet at the same stage which is an eye treat to watch. The library at lpu is the best and biggest and you get all the test books and references whenever you want. You will be provided with a good projector and 2 air conditioners in class with good ventilation. PHYSICAL EDUCATION is a separate block for sports and etc which is taken as a degree if interested. There are a lot of social clubs which are run by students like coding ninjas etc...
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are below average in LPU and food is below standards. These things are the only important things needed to be improved at lpu. you can register for hostels from the university management system and afford them and the affordability of hostels is comparatively soo high than standards. I've been to the hostel.
Admission
My eligibility for the course is given by board exams of 11th and 12th standards. I applied online from admissions.lpu.in website. If any student is having reservations then concessions will be given and scholarships are also given to them. Normally students give the LPU nest exam through which they get selected and the fee for it is 1000 rupees, and fairly I think they should decrease the number of students intake.
