Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course Bachelor of Technology- Computer Science and Engineering because I am very much interested in the computer science domain and love coding. The faculty are very much helpful and ready to solve our doubts even after class time. All the faculty are very good at teaching and able to clear all the doubts easily. There are 3 continuous assessments out of which marks of the best 2 exams are taken, 1 mid-term exam and 1 final exam.
Internships Opportunities
I am working as an intern in inviz.ai as a data scientist intern. The company came when I was in the 6th semester and it is giving me 35k INR as a stipend. Apart from these companies many of my friends also got internships.
Placement Experience
The placement record of the university is brilliant. A lot of companies came to our university every year to hire students as an intern/employees with good packages. The student can start doing an internship from the 6th semester onwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very simple. The fee is 90,000 INR per semester making it 1,80,000 per year but almost every student gets a scholarship and even an average student can also get a 40% scholarship making fees around 1 Lakh a year. THE LPU NEST exam is organized by a very easy university. And after that, there are ample internship opportunities and you can easily cover your fees with a one-year internship.
Campus Life
Campus life is very happening. There are lots of fests happening every month. Lots of singers and Bollywood actors came to the university for the entertainment of students. You will never be bored. The library is also huge and all the books are available in sufficient quantity. There are huge football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball courts, and a huge indoor swimming pool. In addition to the above, there are lots of social groups, and clubs that are being run by the students.
Admission
The admission process was very easy. There are 3 steps to taking a scholarship and the maximum scholarship is 50%. The first method is by board marks. If the board's percentage is 95+ then a 50% scholarship, if 90+ then 40%, and if 80+ then a 30% scholarship is given. The second option of scholarship is JEE Mains, if JEE percentile is 90+ then 50% scholarship, if 80+ then 40%, and if 70+ then 30%. The 3rd option of scholarship is via the LPU Nest exam. The application form is present on the website of LPU only. Interestestudentsnt can go through the university website to know about the course syllabus. The semester fee is 90,000 INR but you can get up to 45,000 INR after a 50% discount.
