Course Curriculum Overview
I took BE Computer Science course because as technology rules our world it will be really helpful if I learned new technologies-based courses for my future. I see a very good future in this stream. The faculties are really good at their teaching as it is one of our best institutions in India. Most of the top-scoring students will join AU and the mass for the students is pretty high as we have more young talents in India. They have a pretty good amount of faculty facilities in all streams of courses. They are qualified well with a PhD doctorate. All top faculties are working for Anna University. They teach us an effective method so we all are benefited from it. Exams are conducted once in 6 months so in total we have 8 semesters and the difficulty level is medium. we can able to pass if we get a good grasp of the contents.
Internships Opportunities
I got offers from Wipro and Infosys for software developer roles. and also got an internship at Accenture with a stipend of 10,000. The made a project of stress detection with machine learning algorithms and also a website for e-commerce which helped me to crack those companies.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements for 6 semesters. There are 140+ companies visited in AU such as Amazon, wipro, cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package of the company is 36LPA and the Average package is 7LPA. 100% assured placement is provided by anna university. My plan is to get a well-paid job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study for a single year will be INR 55,000 per year. We can get scholarships if we got pretty good marks in HSC. Scholarship available is MBC/BC and SC/ST scholarships available for the backward class if the annual income is below 2L. The placement is very well in AU because 1500 + offers are availed by the students and 140 companies are came on campus to AU. The average package is 7LPA and Highest is 36LPA.
Campus Life
Campus life at anna university is amazing. They conduct an annual fest of cultural and tech fest of symposiums and open-house projects. They have a wide range of collections of books in their library. We can get any book which is mostly available in them for free. Classrooms are well-cleaned and maintained properly. It is the best campus. The environment is so friendly. They conduct annual zonal for sports and extracurricular activities like hackathons.
Admission
The eligibility for anna university is to get a good score of above 95% in both HSC and SSCL. They offer various streams of courses such as BTech BE BArch etc, under various ranges of departments. However, the acceptance rate is 29% which is very difficult to obtain. Anna University accepts students basis on their entrance exams. We can find the application form on the official website of AU. Application fees are 500/- and the dates for application are based on after the completion of the last HSC exam and after those result announcements. The Improvement in the admission process will be very helpful if they increase their acceptance rate for joining the process and also help everyone to get admission to their college.
