Course Curriculum Overview

The mechanical department started in the beginning. It has well-experienced faculties Lab facilities and faculties are also experienced. The faculties are friendly. It is easy to understand the way of their teaching

Internships Opportunities

Internships can be compulsory in Semester 5 Companies like jsw, and LNT provides Internships each year. Mini projects have to be done in semester 6 on your own. Faculties are very helpful in getting placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Placement takes place every year. Placement for IT jobs is very high but the placement for core company jobs is very less when compared to IT jobs. The average placement for each year is 120 students. Good placement

Campus Life

The campus and infrastructure are nice. There are a lot of clubs for students like music club, metrics club, English club, Tamil club, standard club, and rotary club. one student can participate in all of them

Hostel Facilities

Hostel registration can be done easily, the hostel fee will be 8500 per year. Mess foods are ok not too good but it's value for money we are charged around a max of 1700 per month. We can be 5 in a room with a fan and two lights and 5 cots and 3 writing tables

Admission

Admission is based on a cut-off basis. TNEA counselling. The application form is available on the college website. Access is so easy we must provide all the documents correctly. A medical fitness certificate is essential for admission

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I chose this college because I am a resident of this city Salem and wanted to be a day-scholar. This college is also NAAC accredited with A+ grade and also stands as the higest graded government engineering colleges in the whole state of Tamil Nadu. The transport facility for reaching this college is also easy for me as there is availability of college bus which goes around the city to pick up the students i.e. the dayscholars all around the city.
