Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen the courses because of my intersts in this field. 1 Faculty with over 15 students. All facilities are post-graduated or P.Hd. in their respective and teaching methods are magnificent. They are weekly doubt sessions for every subject. There are 3 assessments and mid-term and end-term exams. The exam is full of medium and difficult-level questions.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

One can get internship in companies like amazon , microsoft , infosys . From 1st year one is prepared for soft and technical skills and interviews. There are prohects like website making , data handling .

Placement Experience

4.5

From 5 -6 semester you can apply for campus placements. There are companues like amazon , infosys , microsoft . Yet highest package is 3 crore. 95-98 % student got campus placements. There are scenes like seed money and university support for students who want their own startups.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a 1.2 lakh tution fee and 4000 examination fees per semester. The scholarship is based on Lpunest. There is financial assistance for some categories. There are a lot of job opportunities with full guidance.

Campus Life

4.5

There are a lot of music fests and festival occasions like Pongal. There are central libraries and department libraries separately. All classrooms are of strength up to 80 with proper ventilation. All facilities inspire you to involve in sports and co-curricular activities: football, tennis, debates, and hackathons. There is a department DHW which has literature, music, dance, and many clubs.

Admission

It is quite easy you can fill out your form first if you are interested in admission, and after that, you will get a call from the university. They humbly explain to you all facilities, opportunities, and every step of how to apply for a scholarship and many more.

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
