All about NSUT

I have always been interested in Computer science and with the recent hike in the world of Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence, I believed opting for CSAI was the ideal option for me. We are a class of 84 students which is handled by 1 faculty. There is a branch with a total of 120 students in 1 section which is handled by 1 faculty. The faculties are highly qualified professors from various IITs and even foreign universities. The teaching method on the other hand is not upto the mark. It is the same whiteboard where a teacher comes and tells his notes and goes away. The exams were held regularly, after every 2 months and passing is quite difficult with some certain professors bcoz of their strict marking

Campus Internships are available to students in 2nd year and onwards. Various big companies provide internships to students and later also offer PPOs to them. This also improves the resume of the students for their future use

One becomes eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. NSUT generates some of the most brilliant engineers in India and is thus highly valued by companies for hiring. Various big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google hire students from NSUT as SDE

The fee for pursuing BTech in NSUT is 210000 in the first year which gradually increased with the subsequent years. There are several scholarships available to reserved categories so that they can complete their education

Annual Fest - Moksha is conducted annually in the month of March. It is one of the biggest events in the Delhi NCR and attracts crowds from all nearby as well as far away colleges. Innovision - Technical fest of NSUT which is also held once a year. There are several books and journals available in the library which can be issued once we receive our Id card There is always some sports competitions undergoing now and then. Extracurricular activities are always happening on the campus of NSUT

To apply for NSUT, one has to clear an exam called JEE mains and clear a min cutoff to get their desired branch. To opt CSAI branch one has to get a rank of 7000 (inside Delhi student) and 3000 (outside Delhi students). The admission process is undertaken by Joint Admission Counselling, Delhi (JAC Delhi). The admission process is mostly online, but there is a step of physical verification of documents in which one has to visit the provided college for verification of documents. The admission process is fairly simple and if anything can be improved I'd suggest allowing us to choose which college to go to for physical verification that comes under JAC Delhi.
