Course Curriculum Overview

I choose information technology because I have an interest in computers and I get it according to my rank. The faculty of the college is highly qualified but does not have much experience in teaching. In one sem there were two exams one major and the other minor means mid sem and end sem. And difficulty is moderate

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement of college is good in upper branches like cs, it et. but bad in lower branches. Paytm, Microsoft, jio5g, vincee int. etc are visited in college. And placement is started from sem 7 till the end of sem 8. 80 % of the student is placed in companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is very high for middle-class students 1.35 lakh is only college fees except for hostel fees. And I don't get any scholarships because my father is in government services and only private sector employee children get scholarships.

Campus Life

Mainly there are three fests amrabh, adhyaay and technical. It is held once every six months. The books available were okay much older books are present which were not useful for the present syllabus. The classroom is the average infrastructure is average. The sports facilities are very bad. But the gym is okay. Some groups/club is run by student like E-CELL, AUTOROB, AEROCLUB, POETRY CLUB etc

Admission

The joint entrance examination is required for eligibility for the course. The application form and all other details are available on nta officials website. OBC (NCL) is a category under which I get admission in College

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

My collage identity

This college is the 2nd best B.Tech college in UP after IIT and its placement is also good. One has to clear JEE for admission in HBTU in which one has to get rank in thousand for CSE .Those with lower rank can try the sports round once, in which there are more chances of losing admission in lower branch like FT OT. Since my rank was 10 lakh, my admission also happened in the sports round....Read More

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More
