No independence to choose internships
No help is provided by college to get Internships

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Btech in CSE is very interesting for every student who's interested in digital problems and tech-related fields The student's ratio is quite good in the CSE branch as it could be taken as 70 to 30 Most of the faculties are Ph.D. or at least post-grad. The exams are taken after a month and difficulty is moderate

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

In 7th semester students become eligible for placements TCS Wipro and like companies come for the placement drives The highest package on campus is around 30 lpa which was only for one student. More than 80 percent of students get placed Placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are average for a private institution. It's average to be paid for a course like btech CSE A lot of scholarships are available in college as on your financial situation of yours Once a student comes to college he/she can apply for numerous of them and on basis of the financial condition u can get a scholarship

Campus Life

No fests are conducted as of now only farewells and freshers are conducted. There is a good amount of availability of books and journals in the library Classrooms are spacious but with no ac installed only fans are available Only football is supported as of now There are a lot of clubs for numerous activities

Hostel Facilities

Facilities in the rooms are very moderate with only fan and tube lights and a single wardrobe for each person in the room and no option of AC non-AC is provided Mess food is below average it's not very good quality Registration could be done through the main office of the college Pg and everything is right outside college but the condition is not very good

Hostel Fee: INR 115000 per year

Admission

The upsee exam is conducted before the admission The Upsee website is available for the forms The admission process is smooth but could be improved by making the students free to choose the college after an allotment

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
