Course Curriculum Overview
I choose mechanical engineering because I was always interested in mechanical objects, their design, and their work. Regarding our faculty, I think teachers are highly educated and knowledgeable, somewhat strict but yeah it's somewhat necessary. Also, many of our lab teachers are doing their higher studies (Ph.D.) from our college only while also teaching us. The student ratio is better than I expected, there are 20 girls in the batch of 100 students. I think most of the friend circles at least had 1 or 2 girls in them. 1st year really is finishing fast and so does our exams. Mid sems came in January starting 2 months after college started, the syllabus was also very vast to cover in a few days but it went well for me. Most of our batchmates faced difficulty in the exams. The level of exams was moderate to difficult especially in electrical and mechanical subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's good and substantial for middle-class citizens. College also offers policies to students with not good economic backgrounds to support their families so that they can pursue their education giving student loans at low interest
Campus Life
College life is going really well. The campus is really large and beautiful and you get plenty of time to explore everything with everyone. I also made many friends within my class and other classes too. Seniors are really great and helpful
Admission
I got into NSUT through jee mains entrance exam in which I secured 92 percentile. After that, I filled the JAC Delhi form which is basically for the admission to government colleges of Delhi and got a mechanical engineering
