Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose this course to get a mouth-watery package of course and another reason is my interest in the software field, especially in cyber security and ethical hacking. The faculty is quiet good I would say a mix some are very good and chill but few are not friendly and helpful to the students and the student ratio is now improving as our college gives a 20 percent female quota. All the faculty members are highly qualified and their teaching method is good needs to improve they need to connect the subject to students not just start teaching. We have a back-to-back examinations from class tests to practicals to mid sem to another CT and finally end sem exam and it is not easy to pass the exam the students need to give a certain amount of time to each and every subject.

Internships Opportunities

3

In 5th sem intern opportunities started a student needs to maintain a good cgpa and he or she should be better in coding which is the main factor intern students get around a 30k- 90k stipend. Students have to do a few projects in the interested field or the demanding field which is required in the market.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 4th and 5th sem students have a chance to get internships and from the 6th and 7th sem students start getting placed. Almost every big and small company visits our college around 300+ for very filed tech,non-tech and core and 90 percent above students from every department placed. The highest package is around 1.25 cr and the average is around 22 LPA. My plan is to get a good placement in a reputed company and also I wanted to start a start-up.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year the fee is hiked by almost 20 percent and the cost to study is also increasing with increase in time. Our colleagues give many kinda scholarships to needed students like pms obc, pms sc, and mcm financial linked scholarships. Our campus placements are one of the best in a country not just for tech courses but also for nontech and core courses also.

Campus Life

4

Our campus life is good I would say as our annual fest moksha is one of the best in north India and our tech fest conducts many activities for interested students. They were both conducted in the month of Feb and march. Our library is also good it has many books related to every course and different magazines and journals for interested students. Our classrooms also have facilities that are needed like smart boards, ac, and better sitting. Sports facilities are also awesome we have every sport in our college and our college host sports fest and inter university tournaments also our sports faculty send us on different tours to play and show our skills. Our college has almost clubs for every extra curriculum activity including drama, dance, singing, standup, social service, gaming, photography, literature, quiz, coding, etc.. I mean I can't even remember the no.of societies and clubs. Also, we have our official website and student sections for important information and instructions.

Admission

75 percent in the 12th class. Registration will be done on jee main website, fee for registering is 600 rupees for gen/obc and 350 for sc/st and a further brochure is provided on the jee website itself. Obc/sc/st students have less cutoff in comparison with general/ews students in jee mains marks and 12th boards percentage. The improvement which I seek is to give a proper schedule of every stage of admission from registration to exam dates and admit card and at the end results.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.
