On the job internships

The course curriculum is excellent and the study pattern is very good. Teachers, staff and faculty members there are well-qualified and mannered. The teaching method is something different there, they teach through smart boards and ppts. The laptop is mandatory to take in BYOD classes. Exams are held there most often and they are a bit harder.

Internships at LPU are a blend of summer training, full-term optional/compulsory internships, on-the-job training, study tours, and skill enhancement events and workshops. The university exposes students to real work environments and provides an opportunity to apply their learning in real-life situations.

Further, a total of 431 students were offered a salary package between INR 10 LPA and INR 62.72 LPA during Lovely Professional University placements in 2021 and 2022. Apart from this, more than 1,050 companies visited the campus and 8,400 placement and internship offers were made during LPU placements in 2022.

Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So the University offers India’s largest Private Scholarship Scheme. Fee for successive semesters will be payable before the end of teaching of the preceding semester. The examination fee (per semester) is Rs. 4000 and the examination fee for 1st semester is payable along with a fee for 2nd semester or before.

College life is very busy but good. The campus is always in news for various activities. The educational aspect is looked after by the various workshops and seminars conducted. They even have open classes at times if the weather permits and I have heard that this makes education more interesting. Besides this, the big auditorium is always buzzing with activities like guest lectures from industry experts. There are many fun activities like the events conducted for fun in the evening by the student affairs department where some celebrity or the other are always visiting the campus. The DJ evenings add to the fun fiesta. There is a fun zone, swimming pool, gym and so many other things.

LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the Ac and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room.

There is an entrance exam that has to be cleared during admission named lpunest and if you clear that entrance you can avail of the scholarship. It is an average-level test and an 80 per cent score is needed to get to the highest scholarship
