Remarks

I bet you ask any alumni of this college and you will hear the same thing as I am writing down here. Management is for name sake. I don't know how they are managing to loot and lure students evey year. No one will listen to your complaints and if you brea

Entrance Preview

I took PTU exam in year 2008 and got good rankings, to my surprise only few colleges had the specialization, I was looking for, nevertheless I got into IITT, a college in remote village called pojewal, yeah, I know none of us have heard the name before.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

Curriculum is defined by PTU and its the same for all the colleges under PTU. You have electronics and communication, electronics and instrumentation, chemical, IT, Computer specialization to choose from. Batch strength is unlimited and you will technically end up getting whatever you desire.

Internships Opportunities

Must be kidding, no support for internships. Imagine how the college will be whose training and placement officer is a person more than 65 years old and is unaware of how to send emails from gmail. Such terrible condition.

Placement Experience

0.5

No placements, Though the college claims about recruitment but trust me not a single company came in my 4 years of degree. And I guess you will be smart enough to understand as why a company will come to a college which is in remote village that too lacking even basic necessity.

College Events

1.5

College usually doesn't organize anything, but never mind students jumps in here and fest's, fresher party, and farewells are organised. Lucky girls get to have hostel nights every now and then. Guys have nothing, organize your own booze and chill out whenever you want.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive in terms of standards. Not good infrastructure yet you ask for such high fees and this all goes where is still students are wondering. This college is not worthy at all and spending 67k+ hostel charges will be the last thing any one will want. Fees might have changed so do your research.

Fees and Financial Aid

College will not help you in getting loans, you help yourself if you still decide to study here after reading my reviews.

Campus Life

0.5

Campus life is OK, no studies means only fun. Lot of narrow minded people from across the country so be ready to step into arguments every now and then. Gender ratio... Good in CSE and IT branches, pathetic in ECE reasonably good in EIE. Most of the students will be from U.P and Bihar followed by Punjab and Himachal and Delhi, Handful from Assam and westbengal.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel is good, stayable but mess is OK, not that great food for the price paid and no non veg. I would rather recommend to stay outside as you will get really cheap rooms just outside the campus as cheap as 500/600 rupees per room. So if you cook or if y

Alumni/Alumna

No comments, no one wants to say they studied from a college as crappy as this. Seniors are good and helpful except the ragging days, though its banned but still you will have to write their assignment and all. But overall they will guide you and help you whenever required.

Exam Structure

Exam pattern is defined by the university and will happen semester wise. Be prepared to get lot of supplements. Study off your own. 1st year is common across all the branches. After 1st year 1 month of training will be there. After 2nd year 2 month of min

Faculty

0.5

I was excited initially, all flushed as soon as I hit the main gate of the college. The college is located very remotely and you won't find anything literally anything for 15 kms on either side.Coming onto the business point, i.e. the faculty and staffs.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
