Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

THE OTHER COLLEGES WERE RAMAIH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND NITTE MEENAKSHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. THESE THREE COLLEGES WERE IN MY TOP PRIORITY BECAUSE THESE WERE THE ONLY THREE COLLEGES WHICH WERE NEAR TO MY HOUSE DISTANCE WISE. I WANTED BMSCE AND RVCE TOO BUT THEY ARE VERY FAR AND I'LL BE REACHING HOME LATE. TALKING ABOUT THE ADMISION PROCES, IT WAS NOT MUCH OF A HASSLE, IT WAS A SMOOTH PROCESS WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY. FOR THE MANAGEMENT STUDENTS, YOU CAN REACH TO OUR ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT AND THEY WILL HELP YOU OUT IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. ALSO BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT IS A VERY PROFFESIONAL AND REPUTABLE TIER TWO COLLEGE, SO YEAH ME AND MY PARENTS ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE COLLEGE. IF THERE IS SOMETHING I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE IS, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH COMPETITONS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT TO MOTIVATE THE STUDENTS, THERE SHOULD BE CASH PRIZE COMPETITONS AMONGTS THE STUDENTS IN THEIR OWN RESPECTIVE BRANCHES....Read More
