What Students Say

Likes

the opportunity to do everything available in the colleges is good
the faculties support is very much good which helps the students very much
the placement cell ready the students before the placements alot

Dislikes

the campus size is too much small as compare to other good colleges
the mindset of students is lower as compare to other good colleges
small college societies use to fight frequently

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Placements are too good in my course so that is why I chose it, the faculties are very much helpful by nature and guide students in every way, I course curriculum is easy to understand and exams happen every 2 months, All the faculties are doctorate level in there field.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 177000 per year

Placement Experience

there are a lot of on-campus companies that visit the campus every year and hire almost 99 percent of the students, yup it happens in our colleges and the other 1 percent have other plans after the 3rd-year student is eligible to apply For the campus drives.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee is very low as compared to other colleges in the country which is the reason there are lots of students from different states in India, if anyone is coming from a weaker section then there is a very famous scholarship which is MCM( merit cum means scholarship ) which refunds 100 percent of the tuition fee if you are eligible.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus size is around 6-7 acres, but the organizing of the campus is very much good, Annual cultural fest ie. malhar occurs every year with 2 das a lot of events, and the library has a lot of books i.e. there are ample amount of books to study and centrally airconditioned library, have all the sports facility, societies are also good i.e. the major society in Anveshan which is too good in its culture.

Admission

admission is done through the IPU counseling process which is based on the JEE Main rank, one has to secure more then 60 percent marks to apply for the IPU Counselling form, reservation is only applicable for SC, ST, and PH persons. One can find the application form on the IPU official site.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
