- some teachers don't teach properly and rush the syllabus
- most students don't get hostels so they have to stay in pg or flats.
- poor gender ratio which is a problem in most of the engineering colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is easy if you understand physics in classes 11 and 12. The teachers are a mix of good and bad. They are well-educated. The exams are easy to pass and score well if you study for 1 week for mid sem and 2 weeks for end sem.
Internships Opportunities
mostly all the top companies for tech, non-tech, and core roles come into campus. the competition is tough as they take fewer students for intern positions as compared to full-time positions. the highest stipend was 2,00,000 per month. to get your resume shortlisted you should have a high gpa, good projects, experience, achievements, and positions in college socities.
Placement Experience
Placements start from the 4th year which is the 7th semester in August. A lot of top companies visit the campus. highest on-campus placement goes around 50-60LPA CTC and the average is 8-9LPA CTC. The placement % is high around 90-95%. My plan is to get placed with a high package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are paid every year when the academic year starts. It is 2,19,000 for the academic year 2022-2023. It hikes 10% every year. You can get financial aid from the university or the Delhi government. Just keep track of the notices on the official website of DTU to know more about the application process.
Campus Life
A lot of fests, nearly 2 every month. A lot of books are available in the library which can be issued after you get your college IDs so no need to buy them. Sports complex to play table tennis and badminton, football ground, cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket nets, and kabaddi court. A lot of societies that you can get to know from your seniors.
Admission
I gave JEE MAINS. There are no criteria for application as such except you must be in class 12th or 1-year drop or 2-year drop from the science stream. The application process starts in October and you can find the rest of the details on the jeemain.nta.nic.in.
