Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose my course because it has a nice opportunity for the future as the semiconductor demand is increasing so do the demand for electronics. The faculty-student ratio is about 60-70 students per faculty Faculties are very knowledgeable but their teaching method is not so good. Since it's my 1st semester I am not sure but passing an exam is very easy no one fails college exams. My college conducts many tests at regular intervals.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Well, our college gives the opportunity to get internships. The companies vary from big names like Tower Research, Deloitte, IBM, Cisco, Adobe, D.E Shaw,. RBS, Apollo Munich, ARM, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Sun Pharma, Wipro, and many more such companies. The roles they offer are mainly either management or software development. Research and plan a new project. Create a budget for a project. Develop support material. Plan an event. Critique company website. Manage company blog. Manage social media accounts. Organize tags and meta descriptions. These are some tasks the company gives to their intern.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. From the big MNCs to start-ups every company visits NSIT because of its quality of students and location. Google, Microsoft, Zomato, Factbook, Ola, etc. The highest package of our university is 1.4 crore and the average package offered is about 1000000 per year. Nearly every student gets a placement in NSIT. About 95% of students get a placement. My goal is to work as a software developer after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is not very affordable. The fees are more than any other government college. There are many scholarships that you can avail however I didn't apply for any scholarship. But you can get information on every scholarship at the orientation.

Campus Life

4

NSIT conducts one of the biggest fest in Delhi known as mokha. It's a very large fest with a footfall of over 70000 in just 3 days. It happens at the end of March every year. My college has a building for a Library. You can find any book in it. All the latest books and journals are available in the library. Classrooms are full of amenities providing a clean and silent environment and loaded with AC, smart board speakers, etc. Many sports activities are held and there are many groups and Clubs that promote sports and other extracurricular activities. Mostly all the Clubs are run by students like devcom, debsoc, ieee, crescendo, etc.

Admission

You have to Crack jee mains with a nice enough rank to get admission. All the important dates, guidelines, and application fees can be found on the jac Delhi website. You can avail of reservation benefits by filling out the application form and selecting your category. The application process should be fast for me. It takes too much time to fill out the application form.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
