Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are on average, some are phenomenally good and really want to teach you in-depth whereas others don't care about the subject. The gender ratio in DTU is inferior. We had less than 10 girls in the mechanical branch with a strength of 330 students.
Internships Opportunities
All major and minor companies recruit from DTU. Starting from Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon, etc. Stipend various from 30k/month to 2.5 lakh/month. They mention the job roles and projects in the job description.
Placement Experience
Placements are great, you'll gonna get a good placement from DTU. If you're from a tech background your avg package would be around 15lpa and the highest will be around 55-60lpa. For nontech background, it can lie between 8lpa to 35lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is simple and easy, you just need to pay the fees on the portal. The fee hikes 10% every year for all batches. There are scholarships available based on family income and caste-based scholarships. Loan facility is also there.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is very chill, especially if you are a hosteller. In DTU, you can witness fests every 15 days. We got tons of societies and clubs on the basis of interests. Faculty also conducts on-site visits, for core branch students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility at DTU is very chill for boys and strict for girls. If you're a guy you won't get a hostel unless you are from outside the Delhi quota, if you are a girl you will easily get a hostel. Apart from that, there are tons of PGs and rented accommodations around the campus. You can easily find one for yourself.
Admission
Candidates must register on the JAC Delhi website to be eligible for admission. They need to fill out the registration form and also have to give JEE(mains) for getting into DTU. You should score above 99+ percentile in order to get admission in it, if you are from Delhi and got your schooling done in Delhi you will get the benefit of reservation. There are other caste-based reservations too.
