Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Ayurveda because of its scope, Faculty members are all renowned doctors in their respective specialities. Exams are held on the basis of NCISM guidelines and semester-wise. All over India BHU is known for its work on the world level in Ayurveda

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 29834 per year

Internships Opportunities

A stipend of 28000 is given per month for A Intern Doctor here at sir Sunderland hospital. And after the internship, Approx 1 lac stipend get by A Junior Resident Doctor. And due to its internal Reservation, Maximum students gets a seat in PG courses

Placement Experience

An internship stipend of 28000 was given to all the intern doctors of IMS BHU and after that approx 1 lac per month is given to a Junior Resident Doctor. And for MBBS due to internal Reservation, All UG students will get seats in PG

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is simple and almost cheapest in the India 29834 for a 1-year student and after that 24536 for 2 years and goes on. Scholarship benefits the Maximum number of students of Banaras Hindu university.. Uttar Pradesh scholarship is available for BHU students and much other government scholarships is provided for students

Campus Life

The campus is full of social working and many programs for student Development take place at a regular intervals like a sports events, singing, dancing and literature type program conducted regularly by the authorities

Admission

Admission is on the basis Of the NEET exam and after then counselling on the All India level governed by Ministry of Ayush If you are General and you have 600+ marks in the NEET exam then you get a seat easily in the Faculty of Ayurveda IMS BHU

I like the opening of new pachkarma centre in my college

Dislikes

There are so many monkeys around the campus
Working staf is so lazy that student work by their own for the betterment of campus
Cutting the grass of campus by the students

As this a course of ayurvedic medicine, as our country population grows & more the populations get disease, & the depends upon allopathic medicine for quick relief but some long term disease take time to cure & for long time allopathic medicine can harm your vital organs, so this can cure easily by taking Ayuvedic medicine without any side effects. Timing of exam is 3 hrs

I liked this BAMS course because it is like a philosophical subject in which we have studied both modern medicine and ayurvedic part, in which we read a lot of books though it is difficult to manage both modern medicine and Ayurvedic part.

Likes

Faculty is highly qualified,friendly,humble and have a better communication to the students.
Chairs are comfortable for sitting,class is fully ventilated.
Library consist of all books related to NCISM and CCIM

Dislikes

Electricity is worst,Its comes and go all the time..
Transportation is not easily available for students.
Sports facilities are not available, specially Outdoor sports..

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda and Allopathy combination make me to decide to take admission in this course, as there is a mixopathy. Everything is good,No need to improve anything.. Timing of exams are 20 days or a month late,but before starting of new sessions.

Good infrastructure , proffessors are too much kind and well educated
Classes are well maintained and equipped with air conditioning , projector
Playground , library , too much larger and practical labs are well equipped and dissection lab is too much good

Dislikes

Every thing is normal and good but not seen any abnormalities in this college
Fine in all things faculties are good but some are normal
Canteen is not separate from other courses

Other curriculum activities held every month just like earth day , doctor day , charak jayanti , seminar , inter regional webinar and seminars . Sports and yoga fest and matches are held in every end of the year . Yoga day was celebrated on 21st june

The faculties or professors are very good and are right on path to teach us the whole concept of our subjects through different ways possible
Campus Life is well and good as it is full of space and have so much to do and nearby localities are also well

Dislikes

The hospital have no patient reach or you can say due to distance away from city people are not aware of hospital but they know about the college
There are not much food options available nearby as there is no much eatery places in the campus or just outside

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is decided by the government or the body called ncism and is as followed by university and is as followed by the college. The curriculum is designed so as the students get better learning and clear conceptual so that when they complete their degree they should be well known about all kind of outcomes and treat patients in the best possible way and serve the country. The frequency of exams are too much but it enhances the whole experience of learning the theoretical as well as clinical concepts .

Likes

Best part is that teachers regularly takes the class
Management is supportive and they want students to do class regularly that's why they impose finee on absent
The campus is one of the best campus with cricket ground badminton court basket ball court volleyball court and lot's of trees for fresh air

Dislikes

They are very strict for the fees they take fine for late fee
Hostel is bit strict if compared with other hostel

I choose BAMS because i alwys wanted to be a doctor.nd i am proud that I'm learning ancient way of medicine.All the exams are taken by a centralised university exams are on time and level of questions in exams are of good level

Yes, being in the Medical college cadaver is the most important thing which is missing in our college. Whenever we ask them about it they tell us it is unavailable from the place they asked for it. This is negative. Although our facility try to teach us but without cadaver it's difficult.

Remarks:

College was very good location wise because it was only 135 kms away from Delhi. And college faculty was too good, college management were also very good, they gave proper time and notices to students for fees submissions and exams information. Overall I can say that who wants to learn and get good future in Ayurveda. This is the best college.

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. I got seat in AU but same time BHU also, so I have to decide one. I put my seat for upgradation and then BVoc HTM. From 2022, there is only one entrance exam to take admission in all central state University in india. That is CUET common university entrance test conducted by NTA. Excellent Place for higher education

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level.
