Overview/Reality of the college named 'LPU'

I choose btech cse because it is a trending course and more job availability is there in comparison to other branches also in LPU maximum placements are done in CSE in comparison to other branches. Here competition is very high because placements are very low in comparison to students around more than 30,000 students study here at a time In each semester two exams are conducted MID and END-term examinations and 3 CA are conducted in each subject in the semester

As per the stats I came to know from the senior who is in BTECH CSE third year that around 4000 students are there currently only in btech cse from which around 2000 students have chosen for internship by paying 14,000 as placement fees and around 500 offers are going to be made so, for 1 seat 3-4 students are there. Stipends range from 5000-1,50,000 a month above 50,000 is rare but sometimes it goes up to 1.5lakh whether it is on or off-campus is not disclosed.

For 4yrs course After the 4th semester, For 3years course after the 3rd semester, For 2years course after the 2nd-semester students are ready to apply for internship and PPO offers but they have to pay some fees for placement like 14,000 for BTECH,8000 for BCA and all In which placement training will be conducted in the summer or winter vacation also, hostel and mess fees will also be taken extra. Amazon,microsoft, Capgemini, TCS, Deloitte and more company comes in lpu as per last year's stats around 1000 students were successfully placed in which average package was around 4-5 lakh and the highest package was 64lakh by amazon but it was on or off campus it was not disclosed. around 60-70% get placed rest go for higher degrees, or family business, some leave college in between or due to backlog they are not allowed to sit in the placements

Semester fees hike is not done this year but after referring to the seniors before lockdown the fee of BTECH CSE was 80,000 per sem but it is rosed to 1,20,000 per sem, not in 23-24 session course fee is not raised but the mess and hostel fees are being raised by 5000-10,000. I have got a 30% scholarship on the basis of my LPUNEST result now my semester fees is around 84,000

ONE india and ONE world are conducted each year in the month of April but in the 22-23 session one world is not conducted one india is going to happen in April 2023 but no official announcement is done yet. All types of books are available in the library but in limited numbers, as the exam approaches books are out in number because of large numbers of students . In each and every classroom AC and Projector are available and each class has a seating capacity of 72 students. Numerous numbers of clubs and groups are run by students every day there is some or another event happening at the college campus.LPU also promote sports students interested in sports get a scholarship at the time of admission in sports quota and there training and all are also done. but for single sports, you have to pay an extra amount like for only cricket -2000, badminton-2000 ,swimming-5000 and all

Only a bed, a study table and a half almirah are provided in a room bed without a mattress. Meals provided in the mess are average but now the quality of food has been improved because the price of the mess is also increased. The registration process for a hostel is very easy but in some old hostels, water seepage is there for which maintenance is going on. Yes, we have a locality names "LAW GATE" where all of the college students live there in rented PG.

Yes for the admission process, you have to give the LPUNEST exam which is lpu own exam through which you can get scholarships upto 50% also there are many reservation benefits like EWS in which you get a 30% scholarship directly,admission through JEE is also done here scholarship is also given in basis of jee result and 12th result and for a person with disability there are 25 reserved seats in which complete course fee is exempted and after a year hostel and mess fees are also refunded
