Remarks

No bad remarks are for this institute. Campus life is just awesome. You have a lot fun with friends discussing about interesting topics and playing with them. Apart from academics institute has a huge number of activities which energies you during time of your tiredness.

Entrance Preview

I took and qualify the JEE Advance entrance exam. After qualifying JEE exam I applied for B.Tech course and then I qualify interview and took a admission for B.Tech in this institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

The campus has a full-fledged branch of Punjab National Bank with 24X7 ATM facilities. The bank offers facilities for deposits, withdrawals, Pay Order, DD, Cheques and zero balance savings bank accounts and educational loan facility to the students.

Campus Life

Training students in a practical environment is a vital part of our academic plans, considering that the practical exposure is an inevitable aspect of a student’s overall development regarding subject understanding and related concepts. We also keep upgrading the machinery and equipments in our workshop to the latest industry standards to help students learn in a state of the art environment.

My senior are really nice. There is no ragging in our campus. They are helpful. Each time I need any type of help without any hesitation I went our senior for help. They also help with their smiling face.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
