LPU Campus is very beautiful and there is lot of greenery inside the campus.
Lot of career options are there and you can explore the courses as much as you can.
Lot of courses they provide you to persue.

Dislikes

Exams were quite difficult as compare to other universities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I'm very fond of technology and I want to become a software engineer. The faculty ratio at LPU is 1:20. The faculty in 1st year all are assistant professors and in the other years of my graduation were professors who have good knowledge in their field. The exams always happened at the time and they were quite difficult for someone who haven't opened any book or practised the concepts.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 42000 per year

Internships Opportunities

MAQ Software, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and other companies provide stipends for internships. I developed so many applications in my entire graduation and they have played a very important role in my placements too.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. There were a few startups that visited LPU but no offers were made such as Raja Softwares, Springroll, etc. The highest package was 54 LPA and the average package at my time was 3 LPA. 90% of the students at LPU got placed. I'm planning to learn extra skills that can help me to grow in my current role.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is best in LPU, the fees completely depend on your academics and your LPUNest score. LPUNest test can give you a scholarship of up to 90%. The job I'm doing right now is a campus placement and I'm getting a good stipend.

Campus Life

LPU one world is an annual fest and there were a lot of tech fests that occurred every week. There was a huge library with an amazing collection of books on the LPU campus. Amenities in classrooms also were there.

Hostel Facilities

There were different types of rooms in the hostel but I had chosen a cooler room which was 4 seater it was having 1 washroom 4 beds and 1 cooler. Meal quality on the LPU campus is quite good. The registration process for a hostel is quite easy. You just need to clear the type of room that you want. The locality was also quite helpful if you rent a room or PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 52500 per year

Admission

There was a test called LPUNest that you need to clear for taking admission and the passing percentage was 33%. If you are not able to clear the LPUNest then you need to apply again. You can all take admission if you have a good score in your 12th.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
