Amazing life at CT Group of Institutions, the Sports Department will follow the basic principles is to promote the well being of student participants and to attain and maintain competitive excellence to administer clearly, openly and responsibly and to support the overall goals of CT Group of Institutes.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE and my score was amazing. Got CT Group of Institutions in the central counselling and chose to go ahead gladly. Had to take an additional test for an aptitude.

Campus Life

At present library is subscribing a good number of national and international reputed printed journals and magazines as well as e journals and magazines in the field of Engineering, Management & Technology All the housekeeping operations of the library are fully computerized. It is also providing facility of Digital Library online database, e-journals and e-documents are made available to the users.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is quite strong. Seniors are very helpful. As alumni, we still keep in touch with our department juniors and help them whenever they need us. It helps in jobs and all too.

Most of the professors were good. A few professors from our department are very good and very positive. They help us in every manner. Faculty is very good and cooperative.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
