Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I and my family members wanted to be an engineer and due growing in the sector. In our college, there are about thousands of faculties a rough ratio is like 1:10 faculties and students respectively. Most of them are Ph.D. and their teaching methods are also good some of them are pretty awesome but I don't like some of them because of their behavior. Some teacher is like very strict and unreachable but most of them cool minded and cooperative. they show us experiment and use practical knowledge while teaching. Semester exams specially ene term exams are pretty tough but if you attended most of the lectures and prepared well then you easily could score some good grades.
Internships Opportunities
Being a first year I don't know much about stipends. But as I ask a lot of questions to my seniors they tell me we have to add NPTEL certifications on our resume which is compulsory. We have too many projects according to our field. We can apply for internships offline as well as can get in on campus.
Placement Experience
As far as I know, after the 5th semester you can sit in campus placements, there are many companies that visit our companies on daily basis for CSE students, especially those who opted for web development but one irony is there that the highest packages are offered to cyber security students. Like if you see at the official website it's like amazon google microsoft but it's like they visit our campus for changing their taste. Now coming to main recruiters they are Paloalto Deloitte cognizant TCS and many more. Like for the previous year it was about 40 lakh and one 3 crores is an alumnus who started with a package of 10 LPA (as far as I know) the average package for CSE students is 5-6 lakh or 7 lakhs. Most of the students got placed who are eligible for it. It is obvious that if you want to get placed you have to work hard. If you ask me I am here for a decent job.
Fees and Financial Aid
In plus, they give scholarships on various basis like the basis of lpu nest, on the basis of your school marks. You will get a scholarship if your father is in defense if you belong to us (economically weaker section). One of the major reasons why I am here is the fees and scholarship. If you are good at studies you can easily get up to 5000perrs per year. When I joined this college the fee was 120000 per sem but after the scholarship, it's 84000 per sem. no hidden fees only sem exam registration fees. As far I know the fee for this year is the same as the previous year. As I am in my second semester I don't know much about stipends but I know that much we can crack good internships as our seniors did.
Campus Life
Coming on to fest there is a lot fest including many books and journals available there one the best thing about our library is a large number of same books, so there is no scarce of books until comes sem exam. In every classroom projectors AC and nice and comfy chairs are there hackathons and tetrathlons held here. On average daily 50 events are going on. Daily YouTubers and preachers came here not daily but yes like today we met Beerbiceps. Our library is huge there are se. Lpu gives you a full scholarship if you have any achievements in sports(including your mess and hostel fee). Many grounds for cricket football various courts for basketball and volleyball are there. Olympic-level swimming pools are there in our indoor stadium. So if you want to play you could be a better option than studying I must say. There are many clubs in our lpu like SWAYAM, EMINENT, and many more situated in DSW aka the heart of the university.
Admission
I simply applied for the lpunest exam which is compulsory for those who choose B. Tech as their mainstream and then after appearing in that exam at home only got a 2nd category scholarship which means 72000 per year. The exam was proctored that's why it was not easy to cheat in that. Questions were of the moderate level if you studied well in your intermediate you can easily crack them. Form you get easily on the official site of LPU. I belong to a general category that's why I don't know about reservation benefits. I think the whole process is smooth enough so no problem from my side.
