What is what at LPU?

Right from childhood I am very interested in operating computers and also very curious to know how actually this computer works, this lead me to choose this course( CSE). Here at LPU when it comes to lectures there are many no.of lectures. Every lecturer is allotted with Max of 3 or 4 sections and for each section, there will be 72 students. Even their teaching methodologies are very good. When it comes to coding languages there will be practical classes as well as theory classes. In practical classes, every student has to bring their own laptops with them. Here in practical classes, every student was supposed to run the code taught by the lecturer thorough out that class, such that students get proper knowledge of the code. When it comes to exams, in a semester there will be one mid-term examination and end term examination. It's easy to pass those exams just with the knowledge you gained through classes, but to score a good GPA you need to work harder.

Here at LPU, the actual fee will be somewhat high when compared to other colleges. But at the same time here they provide more scholarships too. For a CSE student actual fee is like 120000 per sem i.e per year 240000. Due to the scholarship, they are providing the fee is reduced to 78000 per sem i.e 156000 per year. Here the scholarship mentioned is gained by me through 12th board marks. I got 98.4% in the 12th board and the scholarship is like 35% for the students who got 95%+ in the 12th board and as the marks decrease accordingly the scholarship also will get reduced. When it comes to on-campus placement. In LPU it is like 95% of students will get placed for sure, but the below-average students get placements like 4 to 6LPA (CSE). I am damn sure that for an above-average student, LPU provided one of the best placement options and placements. Here the highest package is 3 crores.

Here at LPU, there will be many programs and events going on every day. Their particular details will be uploaded to the student portal named UMS. From there we can check their dates and timings. Great thing is that LPU is providing students with a library of 4 floors with Lakhs of books and some Mac labs in the library where students can work and learn through Mac books. Here at LPU, there will be a large opportunity through games and sports to get settled in life. Like I mean it provides the best opportunities through sports and games. And here students are always encouraged to run some social campaigns. And here we have many different student clubs which are very help full for students all over the campus. And they have many social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter which are run by students.

Here hostels were divided like ac,non-ac and appartments (boys). For an ac hostel fee structure is like 75,000 per year for hostel and mess cost is 26,000 per year. For a non-ac hostel fee structure is 65,000 per year for hostel and mess cost is 26,000. And for appartments fee is 85,000 for hostel and appartments has no separate mess so students take a mess located just by the appartments named central mess There fee is like 36000 per year. Here the difference between hostels and appartments is, appartments are provided with a kitchen and room size will be somewhat large. One you have confirmed addmission in college you can book hostel by paying like 10000 rs. Just beside the college there is a area named LAW GATE it is like 5mins away from college where you can rent room or PG.

You can just simply apply any attend the exam(LPUNEST). The fee for the application is 1000 rs. After the lockdown I mean at present entrance exam is being conducted offline. For CSE Max marks on the test are 400 and to qualify for the test you need to score min 140. Once you are qualified for the exam you can confirm your admission then you will be getting a mail with reporting time and date. You can report at college on a particular date and get your certificates verified such as the 10th memo,12th memo etc. No reservations were there. But they are providing scholarships based on 12th board marks and LPUNEST.
