I choose the course cause I will really passionate about coding and was also having a good experience in the same. The faculty: student ratio is 1:15 and the faculty members are well qualified and most of them are highly experienced. Most of the faculty have either completed their Ph.D. or are currently pursuing it within the university, while others have done their MTech and are good at teaching. While you might find some teachers teaching methods to be a bit novice. The exams are conducted timely like mid sem, ends, and the CAs the exam are of moderate level and the questions are mostly from the study material provided by teachers.

The company named playing mind games was recently the campus for internship opportunities for the role of SDE with a stipend of 30000 for the first year and 40000 for the second year and a whopping package of 20 lakhs per annum.

The students are available for internships from the semester 6th onwards. The visiting the campus are Flipkart, amazon, google, Mindtree, Wipro, TCS, Palo Alto, etc., and each one with a decent package of 4.5lacs and above depending upon the job role. The highest package this year went for 36lacs in Palo Alto and also some other companies also. The college has an almost 100% placement guarantee. My plans after getting the degree are to get a good job and polish my skills for a better future.

The fees are a bit on the higher side and I pay 90000 per semester and 75000 for the hostel and 35000 for the mess which is pretty average. The cost to study here while availing of all the facilities provided by the university is around 3.5 lac per year. The scholarships available here are through LPUNEST, JEE entrance, and on basis of 12th percentage. Financial aid is given to orphans, the specially-abled, and children of the military of defense personnel. Currently, I am not eligible for internships and jobs but placements here are quite good.

The annual fests are magnitude that is conducted by the student organizations and a lot of hackathons are also conducted here. The library is also well equipped with books in all the fields and the labs here are also good. The sports facility are excellent with the proper guidance of coaches. The student organizations here are also quite good with a variety of clubs from all fields.

The rooms provided by the hostels are well-lit and well-ventilated with the facility of 4-seater, 3-seater, 2-seater, 1-seater, and even dormitory options to choose from in the A.C and non-Ac. options. The mess is rather pretty average but the food quality is very good. The registration process is briefly explained on the website and also there are a lot of PG and private hostels available all around the locality.

The eligibility criteria for my course is B.Tech CSE one should pass class 12th with stream PCM and with an aggregate percentage of 60%. You can also get a scholarship on the basis of class 12th marks and if one has attempted JEE Mains he/she can also get a scholarship on the basis of the JEE percentile. You can also get a scholarship and get admitted to the college by giving the entrance exam LPUNEST and on the scores obtained in the exam one can avail scholarship which could be ranging somewhere between 30% to 50%. There are various categories of cutoffs for the exam i.e. 1. Category 1: 330 marks out of 400. 2. Category 2: 230 marks out of 400. 3. Category 3: 150 marks out of 400. You can find the application form on the official website of LPU, the applications would start from 1st week of November. The application fee is 1000 for males and 500 for females.
