What Students Say

Likes

Teachers and their teachings are very nice and they help us a lot
My classmates are very nice and have a very nice nature
My college life is going very nice and my marks are also good

Dislikes

The classrooms don't have air conditioner in them
There are many subjects which are not related to engineering but we have to study them

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty of this college is very nice and they are very polite and they will help you. Their teaching method is also very good and I understand everything they teach. Exams are held two times a semester. The first is the mid sem and the second is the end sem and they both are easy if you study regularly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 169200 per year

Placement Experience

The placement stats of this college has improved compared to the last years. Many big companies like amazon, Wipro, Infosys, etc visit this college to provide placements. The highest package is around 40-50lpa and the average package is 8lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure has increased compared to the last year. Last year the fee was 1,30,000 and now it is increased to 1,69,200. I think the fee structure is very bad and they should not increase it. If we talk about scholarships there are many scholarships that are given to students like e-district and pmss.

Campus Life

The annual fest named malhaar is held every year in the month of November and this time they are called paradox in the fest. Books are widely available in the library. The classroom is very big and there are 5-6 windows in the classroom for air ventilation. There is one con in the classroom that A.C. is not installed in the classroom. If we talk about sports there are no sports facilities present in this college.

Admission

Yes, I gave JEE Mains exam to get admission to this college. To get admission to this college there are two ways, either to give JEE mains exams or by management quota. You have to fill out the form on the main I.P.U website and have to take part in counseling. After that according to your rank college will be allotted to you.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
