Course Curriculum Overview
I choose MBA to pursue a career in finance, most of the faculties have a PhD and have taught in IIMs. We have faculties from foreign universities too, who teach in short durations... a few of them for a period of 3 months too. We have 3 terms each year and the exam was focused on the practical mind of a student than basic technical stuff.
Internships Opportunities
We have internship opportunities for different fields like Marketing, Finance, operations, data analytics, web design, etc. These projects actually play an important part in our 2nd year. We get our internships with a great stipend and PPO too.
Placement Experience
Our highest package is 16 lakhs and the average package is 9.6 lakhs. 100% of students get placements. From the 5th term students become eligible for placements. We have top companies for placements. You can also go through it in our brochure.
Fees and Financial Aid
It will cost around 17 lakhs to pursue MBA. But Woxsen does offer a lot of scholarships. You can get these scholarships from the entrance exam score. Woxsen page also has a scholarship calculator page where you can type your score in the entrance exam and you can find out how many scholarships you can get. They give you information regarding financial assistance too.
Campus Life
We have numerous clubs, and events, incredible infrastructure, a huge library, a Bloomberg lab, and a huge sports ground. You would at least find one grand event every month. The social life in Woxsen is always a highlight.
Hostel Facilities
We live in the triple-sharing room, where each of us gets our own cupboard, desk and ample space to keep extra furniture. A hostel is available inside the university. We have amazing meals every single day... veg and non-veg will be provided. Every Thursday we have a Chinese menu too.
Admission
The application process contained entrance exam scores, psychometric tests and personal interviews. The score you get in your entrance exam could get you up to 50% scholarship, I would suggest writing WAT or NMAT because that actually helped me.
Interview Experience
We had a written test, psychometric test and personal interview. You will be shortlisted in each round. I had attempted CAT, XAT, NMAT and WAT, and practised for round 9 months to clear this exam with good marks.
