Remarks

Overall my experience was good. This college is expensive by all means But at the same time, it also provides ample amount of opportunities to every and end of the day it comes up to you how much want to grasp that opportunity.

Entrance Preview

College was good infrastructure wise and have good amenities. Education was good and for me I find the exposure to be decent So, I didn't find any reason not to opt for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Courses were good Initial 2 year. you have all basic subject I think the intention is to give students exposure to a variety of different domains so that they can take benefit of it. After two years you would have the lot of regular subjects or the subjects related to your specialization there were weekly assignments and weekly tests whose results use to be combined with your end term results So, in short, you would be busy with assignment and studies and if you take them seriously it would be a good learning for you. For me, the best thing was the electives which were made to available in the final year. it's like doing a specialization in a specific domain. It enables you to have interviews exposure on that specific domains. Teachers were good and skilled during my time. Most of the teachers were IIT passouts. teachers were approachable all the time, and overall i think it was good exposure from a learning perspective.

Internships Opportunities

yes my college provides 6 months industrial internship It's free. But since I didn't opt for it so, I don't have much information on it. But based on comparison to other internship which is being provided by other companies or institutes the internship provided by or college was superior Since it involved more challenging tasks which would be handled by an intern which could help him when he lands a full-time opportunity with an organization.

Placement Experience

1

If I think this is the biggest disappointment which I had with this college their placements are not as good as it is being advertised in the newspaper. There are ample of companies come to college but they shortlist candidates on a very small amount compared to the strength of the students. What I am talking about is 5years back but then collage had taken extra care to introduce placement classes and counseling session for students to improve theirs over all performance in these domains.

College Events

3

There are multiple events, like national events of sport or inter-college tournaments or cultural events or fashion show's or some celebrity concerts or some motivational events So in short there are events of various genre's which keep on getting organized at college. a student can take part in any of the events or can be the team which enable's them to host such events since it gives them real-time exposure which helps them to handle responsibilities and enable them to grow there leadership qualities

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you ask me The fees structure is expensive by all means. If I compare it with the number of placements which is being provided with the organization or institute I think it's very expensive. Since there is no guarantee that you would get placed. There are lot of companies which have black-listed our college for direct hiring or which don't visit our campus

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently, they offer the scholarship based on your 12 marks or percentage, If you have scored more than 90% in your 12th then your more than 50% of the fee is waived off. There are multiple scholarship schemes which have been initiated now which I think deserving students can take part

Campus Life

5

Overall campus life is as good as I can be multiple events like national events of sport or inter-college tournaments or cultural events or fashion show's or some celebrity concerts or some motivational events, So in short, there are events of various genre's which keep on getting organized at college. there are multiple labs including computers ,physics ,mechanical ,civil and for all domains Various sports events keep on getting organized So the collage take notice and care of overall development of students

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel is good and provided with ample facilities what a student would need But again they have different budget which is available for you based on your comfort level you can opt for them Food is provided 3 times a day with snacks in the evening and there are ample amount of mess or kiosk's outside which you can opt for if you don't want to consume hostel food so, I don't think food would be a problem for anyone.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good They try to organize events from time to time so that students can gather up and share their experiences. I didn't have much interaction with our seniors but, I didn't have any issues with them either So overall I have a very neutral experience about my senior.

Exam Structure

It would be hectic if I say in short During your tenure in the college. Every week you would be submitting multiple assignments for each subject and there would be weekly test for that subject which would get contributed to your end term results plus every subject you would have your midterm and end term projects of mini projects which also gets evaluated So, during your tenure there would be lot of studying and examinations which would be taking place.

Admission

I got to know about this college from word of mouth from my relatives and some from know cousins were studying there and feedback was Positive Hence I decided to opt for this college. The panel at college was good and helpful Hence taking admission was easy .Since my admission was done approx 10 years back.I believe the admission procedure would have been changed a lot. Now I think the admission is happening through NEET and then there are two or three technical interviews which were happening But still, I feel if you get a chance you go ahead and study in this college.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties were good and informative Based on my personal experience. I have met some of the most well-informed and dedicated teachers in LPU. They go the extra mile to make sure that the students are understanding what is being taught in classes and the faculties are always open for doubts and questions in the there cabin, and we can reach out to them and ask them queries related to their subjects or in general about what to do in future.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
