Remarks

The college is a for studies and co-curricular activities. There are ample opportunities for almost everything that would ensure your development.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE MAINS and did not get any college, I needed a college with a good exposure that doesn't just focus on academics but also works on the overall development of the students. Also, the fee structure was very economical. This is why I opted for this University

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I said, they focus on overall development of a student. My course curriculum has a variety of subjects that ranged from core subjects to several non-core subjects along with separate classes for soft skills and Aptitude. They also included some designing courses in my curriculum like CREO that is not offered by many colleges of our country.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, It does provide Internships but not to everyone. You have to go through several tests to be on the lists for the shortlisted students eligible for an internship. But if you can find yourself an internship on your own, it is always appreciated. The stipend depends on the companies that offer an internship. Companies like Hyundai and Schwing Stetter come to offer Internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements in the University are fairly good and it is getting better every year. While I was a student, more than 25 companies visited us including core and non-core companies. I don't know the correct number but more than 270 students were placed in reputed firms of the country. Companies like Honda, Voltas, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Cyient, CBL, Shanghai Construction Group, Asahi India, Venturepact and so much more visited our university to offer jobs.

College Events

5

There are several fests that are organized by the University and the students. Some of them are One India, One World but Youth Vibe is the biggest fest that happens in the University which is open to every college of the country for participation. there are the huge variety of events and competition. Some technical events are also organized like International Go-kart Championship, Solar vehicle Championship etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is a fixed fee structure for a particular stream. But there are huge amount PF scholarships that are available to be availed that would make the fee structure very economical. For those, you need to score a good in the entrance test or in any qualifying examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a variety of options through which you can avail the scholarship in the University. They have different tests and criteria for the same. For loans, University has tie-up with many banks and they will offer education loans that can be done during the admission process.

Campus Life

5

The campus has a lot to offer but it would be on the student, how the person balances the academics and other curricular activities. You would be updated through University Management System (UMS) about everything that is going on in the University. There are so many competitive events that is held frequently throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are fairly good but it focuses highly on the security of the students. Every hostel is installed with security personnel, CCTV cameras and biometric entrance which also ensures your presence in the hostel to the hostel warden. There are 4 seater rooms, 3seater rooms, 2 seater rooms available for the students along with dormitory. Mess food is standard but hygenic. There is a huge room for improvement for the food but there is a option to not to avail for mess. In that case you can go to the kiosks within the University that has variety of food to offer on decent price and they taste way better. It would cost 6k to 8k per month for food but it can go down as low as 4.5 k.

Alumni/Alumna

The University has a solid alumni network and several guest lectures are being held for the proper interaction. Also, placement coordinators will also help you to get in touch with the alumni personally.

Exam Structure

The examination structure is very hectic. We have 3 CA per subject throughout the semester with midterm examination and end-term examination. Mid-term examination is of 40 marks and has the weightage of 25 % in final score. Each CA would be of 25 marks and 2 best of 3 would be considered for the final score with the weightage of 20%, Endterm would be of 70 marks with weight of 50% in final scores. At last 5% weightage is allocated to attendance.

Admission

The admission representatives were in my city and as per my 12th scores, I got a good scholarship. They helped me to choose my stream as per my interest and told the pros and cons of the same. There were different codes of conduct documents I had to sign with some other formality documents. They helped me throughout the process and right after the formalities were done, they provided me with the id card.

Faculty

4

The faculties are good enough. The faculty for core subjects is very devoted towards the curriculum and understanding of the students towards the particular topic. But there is still a room for improvement for the faculties for non-core subjects. The faculties for aptitude and soft skill are very good and they will ensure the growth of an individual, also they will train you for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
