- I liked the infrastructure and the student life as it has a chilling vibe and also the students are also nice.
- Festival and social gathering events are a treat to watch and experience
- Placement companies like google, Microsoft and many tech related companies place student.
Dislikes
- Lower department like civil, mechanical etc didn't have much comfort in placement as CS student have
- A lot of work is given to students as the syllabus is quite lengthy
- Some teacher's may quite give hard time.
Course Curriculum Overview
According to the jac score I've got mechanical engineering in DTU. First year faculties are good not too strict. Environment was also awesome. Due covid period our whole semester was done about 3 months which affected most of the students and teachers as well.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the companies which give internship opportunities are only available for CS, IT, and Electrical departments. And the lower department students didn't get that many opportunities. Many companies came for internship programs like google, Microsoft, adobe etc.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is quite good if you are a computer science student as most companies want tech students. So students of civil, and mechanical departments are also trying to get placed in a tech company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees per semester are around 1lac 25 thousand so it takes around 2.5 lac per year. Overall 9 lac is the total fees of the course in 4 years. Job opportunity is quite good as many companies like Google, Microsoft, tata etc came for placement.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of Delhi Technological University is very good as it maintains it's natural beauty and well planned infrastructure. The library is huge but there will be difficulty to find a particular book during exams. Sports curriculum is not so great but ok. There were many society's that were created by students which will help in socializing with others.
Admission
For the admission I have to give jac delhi exam. It shortlist the colleges according the score you get in this exam, then you have to choose the college you want. Then you have to pay the first sem fees to confirm the locked college you get in the exam. Then after a few weeks you have to pay another sem fees. There are many benefits for obc, st, sc student as they can get good colleges on low score in the exam.
