Likes

I liked the infrastucture of our college.
We will be given many oppurtunities in our college.
Faculty will train us about the it sector from the very 1st semester.

Dislikes

I disliked that the food was not upto the mark.
We can not do anything in the university without our icard.
Actually we will not have any dislikes in the universitiy even the things i mentoined above were not actually my dislikes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science and engineering because I like technology very much and I would love to work with computers. Our faculty-student ratio was quite good and our faculty was very much qualified they were passed out from very better colleges and they do teach very well. The term exams were quite easy if we read and we get MCQs in the term exams.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 178000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies will be providing the students with different roles like software engineer, full stack developer, data scientist, cloud computing and etc. From the very first semester we will be given projects using Python, HTML CSS, and many computer languages it will be easy for students to clarify the task.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There will be a lot of companies visiting the campus daily. The highest package our college got last year was 3cr/annum and the average salary was around 5Lakhs per annum.100% of students we get placed. My plans after my degree were to do masters in us.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike will be 10000 per every year and the hostel fee will be 5000 hiked every year to avail scholarship you need to write an exam called LPUNEST and you will get a scholarship from 10 to 40 percent of the semester fee.

Campus Life

There will be n number of fests in our college. There will be daily some kind of fests in our college to know about them we just need to check our university management system so we will be notified about everything there and coming to the availability of books we can get all kinds of books from the library.

Hostel Facilities

Basically, there will be provided three types of hostels they were: documentary, hostel, and apartments. I chose apartments because they provide many facilities like WIFI attached bathrooms and air conditioners and even provide a kitchen. The meal quality was not bad and the menu will be very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

We need to write the exam called loudest and you have to get qualified in it. we can find the application at www.lpunest.com.and we will get a scholarship. if we get in the first 3 categories and our college has the best infrastructure and it also provides us with a very good package.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
