Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course of this college is comparatively good from the rest of the other colleges like GL Bajaj. There is no hectic schedule but you should have to maintain 75% in college in 1st year. The Faculty-student ratio is 1:60 . All the faculty members are Well qualified and some of them have also excelled in research. The exams are divided into 3 parts: a unit test of 2 Chapters, a unit test of the rest 3 chapters, and a pre-University Test before the Semester exams. Since this exam is affiliated with AKTU, there will be Semester exams and based on that you will be moved to next semester's exams.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some companies offer internships. But yeah college also arranges some links to big tech companies. If you are skilled then you get placed easily. so basically prepare a lot because every second person is preparing for placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of this college is quite good. The students got placed in the decent company If he prepares well. Around 200 companies visited last year and the highest placement was around 28 LPA. Avg package - 7 Lpa, Around all students got placed in the company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee Structure of the college is comparatively low with respect to other colleges like GL Bajaj , NIET , KIET and also there will be ample of scholarship opportunities in this college of you are from UP. You can apply to UP Govt. Scholarship and then you can easily avail of scholarships. There will be no scholarship for Outside state students . Talking about the Placements , the placement of this college is decent. The avg package is around 6-7 lakhs and the highest is around 25 lpa . So yeah you have to put you efforts to get placed in good company. Overall it's all about your skills . The Off campus placement is around 1.4 Cr . So yeahh skills matters the most .

Campus Life

4.5

The fest of this college is best here. There are cultural as well as technical fest in this college. The cultural fest is being in April and tech fest is being conducted in November and December respectively. Recently during the freshers' Party, Rapper KR$NA Performed along with Karma. So yeah the fest is quite good. The Library is quite good here.

Admission

So Basically I gave JEE Mains through which I got this college from UPSEE Counselling. Then I applied to the Counselling process of UP called UPSEE. After That, I got to This college. The college is reserved for UP students.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More
