Experience of my college life

Overall no institution is perfect . every organisation has its own flaws but we always have to see the positive side. On a whole my college life was awesome. I learned a lot and had grown as a individual . i have a job in my hand when i left out from the collge and in every way college helped me in my overall development.

i wrote JEE mains and i secured 140 marks so i was getting a scholarship of 1 lakh per semester so i joined this college. And moreover there was early decision benefit provided for me which made me to take admission in this college.

the course curriculum is very much hands on and directly related to the technology and modern world. We used to labs on 1) robotics 2)Automation 3)Artificial intelligence 4)PLC SCADA 5)MATLAB for communication 6)Basic electronics enginnering labs so rather than our regular course we were taught these subjects also.

Yes, there were many companies who came to provide internship for the students like 1)kony labs 2)prolifics 3)Zenpact solutions 4)Robert Bosch 5) Tek systems etc. And they provided the stipend of 15000 to 30000 rupees per month.

Placements are awesome in Lovely professional university. All the registered students will definitely get placed in the university and there were huge tech MNC's like capgemini,cognizant,robert bosch,hp,samsung,kony labs,vmware,amazon,tek systems,tech mahindra,adobe etc. And the packages are also in between 3 lakhs to 30 lakhs based on the company.

Events are the special attraction in the University. we have fests like 1) One india 2) One world 3) Youth vibe 4) Magnitude 5) Concoction These fests are all inter university and intra university but the fests are huge, you can check in youtube or any where in india Lovely professional university hosts the best fests in the country. We have regular celebrity visits to our university and the enjoyment level is to the maximum during the fests. All the students wait for these fests to happen.

The fee structure is very very flexible and inexpensive. The 12th marks percentage will decide the scholarship amount of the student -90% above 1 lakh scholarship per year -80 -90% 75000 scholarship per year -70 - 80% 50000 scholarship per year The early decision benefit enables you to get the extra 10000 per semester cur short from the tuition fees. The mess and hostel are also less then compared to all other universities.

The extra benefits are all not that much available but we have huge scope to explore ourselves so money is not the matter.

the gender ratios is equal for some departments and for some departments it may vary based on the choices of the students but administration will allow everyone irrespective of the gender. we have fresher parties, farewell parties, birthday parties are special every time. we have in house debates, departmental cultural days to be celebrated. and the culture is diverse. We have students from all over the world so the standards are also maintained accordingly. There is no discrimination or indiscipline in the university. no ragging too.

The hostel rooms are all very specific we have sharing of 2,3,4 both AC and Non AC. based on the choice the charges are applicable. We also have apartments through which we can cook ourselves if we want. Every hostel has its own south indian and north indian mess. we have many many stalls provides huge varieties of foods. we have ccd,dominos, inside the university. we have many cafes and restaurants so the whole food facility is awesome.

The alumni are present all over the world. there are regular alumni meets in USA,australia, canada etc. the seniors all are very very supportive as there is no ragging so there is no chance of mishappenings inside the university.

Exam structure is one of the best thing in the college. we have three internal assessments out of which 2 are compulsory and they will calculated in the main GPA. one mid assessment and one final assessment. All are strictly conducted without any lapses and the faculty is very genuine with the markings and all the test papers are strictly corrected. They dont make you busy with exams but they help a lot in the GPA.

Firstly we have to register ourselves in the official website. And in the nearest city there will delegates residing in a hotel. we have to go there tell our interest and they will register our name and necessary details and then we have to write LPUNEST examination. Based on the marks they will assign the applicable departments. So after the fee payment our ID would be generated which would there with us till the last day of our college.

Faculty is very much supportive. All are experienced and have the required capabilities to teach the graduates. Not only with the curriculum but they also help us with all the issues in the university. There are faculties who have done a lot of research work in their respective departments and help us with the projects and the recent advances in that field. Regular classroom teching is made interesting with the videos and ppt presentations.
