Entrance Preview

PGCET was the entrance exam and I wanted to do MBA since that was the best available choice for a commerce graduate. Admission process involved exam group discussions and personal interview

Course Curriculum Overview

My college has a autonomous structure. The college has the best available faculty and infrastructure. The curriculum is research oriented and the students have lots of scope for doing new things and doing things in a new way. For example we had open book exams. Onsite projects etc which gave us exposure to the outside world too

Internships Opportunities

The students have to do internships outside in their company of interest. The students can choose any sector or industry and select a topic of the project in consultation with the faculty and then have to complete the internship

The college hosts the best placement officers and due to the reputation of the college many big companies come for campus recruitment. More than hundred companies visit the college for recruitment. All the students are given a chance to secure a job and once the student gets a desired job he is not allowed to attend another campus interview in view to give chance to other students hence all the students have to opportunity to get a job

College Events

Our college is the best available college in Hubli. The college hosts various events including Management festivals. Sports events. Cultural events. Marathons. Walkathons. Many celebrities are invited to the college for the events. There are ample number of opportunities to showcase your talent to the world. Since it's a engineering college too you have opportunities to work and enjoy with other students too

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is different for students who pass the entrance exam and there is another management quota for students who do not wish to write the entrance exam. Students who got good ranking in the entrance exam will have to pay fees of Rs. 2.5 Lacs where as the management quota students have to pay Rs. 4.5 to 5 lacs which includes all the books and other necessary things for the course which i feel is quite affordable for the quality of education they provide

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not provide loan facility however the students can approach their bank for the loan facility. Due to the good reputation of the college its Easy to get loan from the banks

Campus Life

The college has a wonder campus good canteens parking facility etc.. The gender ratio is there are more girls than boys. The college hosts various extra curricular activities like sports. Rock shows. Various celebrity shows. Marathons. Walkathons management festivals. Technical fests and various corporate social responsibilities are organized at the college

Hostel Facilities

The college hosts a big hostel for boy and girls separately. This is one of the best hostel in the town. The students are given good food and stay and apart from that they are provided library play rooms WiFi and other necessary things at the hostel. The hostel caters for students of the college and celebrate various festivals and events in the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

The college has huge alumni base. The college conducts various alumi meets to make students get to know their alumni which in turn helps the students to grow their network In the industry. Most of the alumni are helpful and may help you in getting a job too.

Exam Structure

Our college had a hectic schedule so as to prepare the students for the corporate world. Exams are conducted weekly monthly and half yearly. We have 4 semesters and exams are conducted in a very professional manner. Results are given on time and hence there is no dependency on the University the evaluation is very transparent and unbiased

Admission

PGCET exam is conducted in Karnataka post results u have to go for counseling at the University and u have to select the available college as per your ranking. Forms are available online. Once you register for the exam you will be given your hall ticket and post result you can choose from the available college as per your ranking. The better the rank the better the chances of getting a good college

Faculty

The faculty if the college are of very high standards. We have had an opportunity to learn from the faculty from premium colleges like IIM, christ. Narsee monje etc which gave us the best learning experience at our college. The faculty are very helpful and provide guidance at each stage of the learning process

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Great learning exposure

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities , diversity , good for networking and banglore is a corporate hub so it's getting easy for to experience corporate speakers.
Hostel facilities, food facilities for students for those who are living in hostels.
And how they prepare us for the corporate world .and the faculty ratio in 1 :12 over there so small batch size leads to better concentration on students .

Dislikes

Timings of hostels for food and go back to hostel time

Placement Experience:

So in the isme the placements are 100% there are lots of companies visited for mass hiring and the average package is about between the 8lacs and 9lacs from the 5 semester we are eligible for the campus placement

Placement Experience:

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

Overall a good experience

Likes

Faculty is very approachable very helpful
Diversity in culture and small batch size so that everyone gets the opportunity
On campus hostel is very convenient there are 50% girls so it’s save

Dislikes

80% attendance is mandatory very disciplined
Every time you have to wear formals and timing of hostel is very strict

In the isme we all getting the opportunity to interact with companies and in isme we have trimesters so from 5 semesters our placements will start and there are good numbers of companies comes for placements and they offer good amount of packages

Other than my college I applied for PC jabin I didn't got admission there because of seat full problem Also the reason is I went late for admission I choose my college over other college because of its technology environment admission process of my college for BCA course is management no CET and comedk will make any difference the fee maybe reduced if you had good grades in your PUC you should have more than 70% marks in PUC form easy admission if less you may be charged more the fee is taken in two installments...Read More
