One of the best places in VIT was library
The bond between staffs and the students is very good
The student will get a minimum one paper publication of the person cooperates on the work with faculty

Dislikes

You need to walk a lot in the campus for each class
Tight security around the college campus
Strict examination policy if caught debarred for a semester

Course Curriculum Overview

The M.Sc. The chemistry course offered by VIT was accredited by RSC. The student will get more exposure to the research field whereas in other colleges it would be very rare. Most of the faculty in the department has completed post-doctoral as well.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In the last semester, there will not be any theory courses 14 credits out of 80 are for thesis submission. Where the students can do an internship or a project work of students interest for 6 months, there is also an opportunity to pursue the thesis program abroad, if you are selected for the placement they will give the internship there itself.

Placement Experience

In 3rd semester students were eligible for campus placements. Fifteen-plus companies recruit students. Most 9 cgpa students will mostly get placed in super dream jobs and maintain 8cgpa to get placed, most of the students go for Ph.D. than jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees cost around 60000 per year and there will be no additional fees in the final year there will be 3.5k extra for Placement and 4k for the alumni association. VIT is one of the universities which offers good placements.

Campus Life

There will be an annual fest called Rivera which is a fantastic event that no one can imagine. VIT has a very good library facility with so many books and it has an online gateway where students can able to access many eBooks and journals there are 60+ clubs and chapters to encourage students apart from their studies.

Admission

The person who was applying must have a minimum of 60 percent or 7 cgpa in the bachelors. The admission form will be available on the portal there will be an option for choosing the campus after the merit list was released by the university.

Helpful Internships with Practical Exposure

Likes

Experienced and supportive faculty who guide well in both theory and practicals. They are approachable for doubts and research guidance.
Well equipped chemistry labs, library and clean campus. Good infrastructure for science students with modern instruments and facilities.
Safe women-only campus with good campus life. Regular seminars, workshops and events help in overall personality and career development.

Dislikes

Being a girls college, exposure to mixed-gender events and industry networking is less compared to co-ed colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.

The main thing I like about the college is discipline.
All my teachers were good and guided and motivated all in a right way.

Dislikes

The main improvement needed is the placement and recruitment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well structured. Some modern methods can be implemented like smart class. We'll have exams every month.Internal exams will be for 2 hrs and semester exams for 3 hours. The difficulty level of exams will be on an average scale.

Best of my life

Likes

Every Thursday we had moral instruction classes .this session very useful for me and personally improved my strength
Very different teaching methods,they explained the topic short and easy point that are very easy to understand quickly.
I loved my library lot of books is there, maintanence...very good.

Lot of job opportunities including medical and chemical field..I would like to say to improve instumental area .I didn't face any difficult level because..our faculty members already guided me how to face all struggle situation and how to write exam..

The college has a huge and well maintained infrastructure.
All the faculties are very friendly and supportive
The college is also providing good placement with high packages.

Dislikes

I feel the fees of various self financed course are too high.
The college hostel fee is also very high compared to other college hostels.
The events and other cultural programs in the college is very minimal.

According to me, there is no bad opinion about my department. But some other department people told there is some lack of knowledge from department lecturers. Because they are very new to the lecturer job.
