- The campus is very far from main city and hence travelling takes time
- Very less people are allotted hostels and students of Delhi region rarely get hostels
- The canteen is not upto the standards and need a major renovation
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as this is a very rare course in btech , very less colleges give environmental engineering in btech. The faculty is good and highly qualified, and teaching methods have also been improved now. In one semester we need to give mid-term and end-term.
Internships Opportunities
Companies come for internships from the third year, various companies come for tech, non-tech, research, and core. Almost 70 percent of people are selected for internships. Also, it is mandatory in DTU to do an internship for completion of btech degree.
Placement Experience
For placement, you should be in 4 years but can start an internship in 3 years. Many companies come and no of offers are always greater than the number of students. The highest placement is around 2 Cr and avg is around 15 L. Almost all the students get placed and the rest goes for further studies. I want to get a decent job after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite normal considering other colleges but still high than some other government colleges. The fees are around 2.2L per year and students can get the scholarship from college as well as from the government.
Campus Life
One of the best things about college. It is very lively and almost every month there is a small fest, the biggest fest is engifest which is one of the greatest fests in Delhi also tech-fest also takes place. Good and big library for books, ac and wifi on the whole campus, very good sports facilities and excellent society diversification for all types of people.
Admission
I gave jee and applied for jac counseling from the website. You also need to have a minimum of 75 percent in boards. The admission process was smooth you need to fill out the form online and need go for document verification once you are allotted a seat. And then pay fees while documents verification.
