Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are conducted every six months means half-yearly exams. Total of six in this field. The faculty is highly qualified. I choose this course because I want to set my career in the field of civil engineering.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We learned many things by completing the internship and it helped us to our skills. Approximately eighty-five percent of students selection. Many projects are under the guidance of various reputed companies and contractors.

Placement Experience

Placements from the sixth semester of their course. The higher package offered is eighteen lakhs per annum and the lowest package offered is four lakhs per annum. Many reputed companies in our college for campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I also joined a six months internship and got 7500 per month. I didn't get any scholarship as I am not eligible for it. The fees charged university is affordable any student can pay the payment.

Campus Life

Also there are many social clubs where students can join it. There are many extra sports activities where students can participate. Function and many programmes are organized every month in our college .

Admission

Maximum class 12th pass with English, Maths, science, commerce is required to take admission in university forms are available online for admission student must give entrance exam to take admission in the university.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
