Anna University Chennai, B.Tech, Electronics & Communication Engineering

Remarks

So as a conclusion I studied in the MIT campus of Anna University I had a very peaceful kind of atmosphere at the very small campus we get to meet your friends from other departments we get to know about all other departments insurance just your department which is very good the syllabus is cut it cover is a lot topics but it depends upon you how much you learn because the staff don't give a shit they don't really care about a study on your own and it was really enjoyable and campus placements is good but you need to work your a** off you want to be placed in a high paying job

Entrance Preview

Hsc just higher secondary score is more than enough...but it should be very high depends upon Ur caste

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course good... teaching bad.. environment good ... assessments bad... outdated curriculum very bad laboratories especially in madam institute of technology the curriculum covers extensively basically it's very similar to the IIT is curriculum but they don't really teacher everything so just really sad you know because if it did then I going to be one of the best colleges in India

Internships Opportunities

The college does not provide any form of internships especially in the electronics and communication course there are companies which to get internship in there are about two companies with S internship and is very difficult to get it they pick 3 people like overall get internship in the third year 2nd year internship we can just forget about it internship experience is quite good they give you stipend so it is paid internship and you get good industrial experience which is good

Placement Experience

2.5

you have tremendous job opportunities for information technology and especially computer science courses where is for electronic courses you are doomed that are basically only less than 5 core companies which come to the campus and the only pick the cream of the class so it is a given place in one is a very very less and less you want to go into information Technologies side then you up to prepare yourself in 30 years in need start coding and learn everything about coding even if u lot for one year to be very difficult to compete compete with me it and CS students

College Events

2

there are a number of inter college inter college events taking place in Madras Institute of Technology but unless you are if interest go and participate in it you won't even realise so many events happened because it's a very small campus and it is very difficult to know about it where is the one in Hindi is very large campus and so you want to know about it so I need to stay updated get someone in your class know about the events then I think the tremendous opportunity to study in Anna University

Fee Structure And Facilities

The best thing about studying in this college is the fee structure which is very very very very affordable for me was only 14000 semester maximum 20000 even that is nois very very less comparatively because its state government organisation the fee structure will not be a big problem if you can still in this college compared to other colleges and expenses also is very love scenes Tamil Nadu is not really inexpensive place Chennai has a very cheap place you can find good food with cheap rates and you can also fine expensive foods if that's for Once in awhile you know

Fees and Financial Aid

They do offer a lot of scholarship for the backward classes with the 4th class visiting call scholarship I guess because he is very affordable you need to take any loans and for really really backward classes you have no fees self you don't need you don't you might not have the need to take a loan

Campus Life

1.5

Ok so you want to know about the generation to generation is very good this order form instead in the college so no problem about that there are workshops conducted Patel quite expensive cultural society is it's a very bad person of society and I guess because it has people from villages Indian people from the urban cities so the cultural cultural why's it is very bad and student Vice City is not that much but not a second theorem proving generator is oestrogen sexual politics economical status all of them no problem in the college no problem at all

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel food is very very bad in be MIT campus but the G eazy campus it's quite good but it's very affordable for the day the cost is below 50 rupees which is very affordable for the people studying here so with the 50 rupees they offer as much as they can and in terms of taste you can give it 2/5but in terms of quantity can get a 4/5

Alumni/Alumna

Is there is a huge alumni network for Anna University which has many great aluminis second get in touch with them very easily in you in the college helps you in getting in touch with them using the alumni Association so I don't think it's a great problem but it could be improved

Exam Structure

The exam structure is quite good but it is mostly theoretical and practical thinking so it's basically just writing writing writing and there are problems and its problems really difficult but I don't like have MCQs very much better the head like MCQs but after the next year I study they've changed the syllabus and it's quite good now but the grading system is countdown with relative grading now so people on studying

Admission

Through Tamil nadu counciling conducted Evey year very simple process make sure to have a very high engineering cut off reputed institute so for BC have a cut off of 198+ so have a good cut off actually cut off depends upon the performance of the students of that here sometimes it be question paper is quite difficult to cut off my my code down there is ability cut off but if the students performance very good that is it a paper is very easy then I'll be a very very very difficult to get into MIT campus

Faculty

1.5

The faculty is not very good in Anna University it is much better compared to Madras Institute of Technology mainly because the good staff prefer to teach in Anna University than in Madras Institute of Technology you have to learn by yourself because the faculties do not show interesting you are the only care about marks and the way of teaching is too boring to concentrate in class so just learn by yourself

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
