Course Curriculum Overview

There is a huge range of courses available, for people specially DBMS management, networking, programming, and desktop support, the role is been improved elsewhere and also evolved into innovative areas lot of faculties are involved in the college including the head of the department and subject handling staff were very good. review teaching methods are too good. out of 5 best 3 will be taken as exam result

Zoho, Freshworks have been providing internships with stipends for minimum of 3 months to 6 months projects like DBMS management and networking solutions have been involved and also upcoming updates will also be provided only after joining the intern

Famous personality people would be giving speeches during the time..and also a fun-filled environment involved with fun-loving and creative people involved in it ..classroom seating arrangement and PPT presentation for implementation were too good. table tennis, swimming pool and sports complex facilities are too good .award will be given every year, NSS, NCC, sports club, English club, Tamil club, tech club much more club activities are included

No entrance exam is required at this time only with cutoff marks I have applied, both online and offline you could get the application form. admission process is good ..no improvement is needed, as per your cut-off marks and under anna university ranking you will get eligibility for courses

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

A review of sona college civil department

Likes

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
