LPU-In depth review of Academics, Campus-Life and Opportunities

I chose this course as I was always curious about computer-related learning. Most of the Faculties are good but some are worst as they are not interested in helping. There are 20-25 faculties I know who are too good and they help a lot. Most of the teachers did PhD in their teaching subjects so no problem in their qualifications but some teachers' teaching skills are worst so that lecture seems so frustrating. Exams are in the gap of 2-3 months. exams are on a moderate level and can be best if you study. You can easily pass as there are 5 marks for attendance and 30 for ca's.

I didn't get any internships so not aware of it but I heard that many companies came this year like cognizant. Minimum Stipend of 15k roles offered like web-developer(it is the most demanding) For cracking internships, you should do a minimum of 2-3 projects on the field where you want to get an internship.

Students are started getting placements from 6th sem. They become eligible after getting placement services and it's not free there is a condition that you should not have any backlogs and cgpa should be more than 5 otherwise you will be blocked from placement services as I am blocked. Recently a lot of companies visited like BYJU'S, cognizant and so other. Big companies selected only 1-2 students for more than 10 lakh packages but startups took 30-40 students for 7-8 lakh packages. More than 20 per cent of students got placements. As I am blocked from placement services because in covid time, My family got into financial issues so which blocked my classes and then I got detained now I am having 16 backlogs so I will do M.tech but not from here because I am done with this university.

As I am a student there so I can tell you that fees are different for most students I got a 30 per cent scholarship so my fee is only 68000 for one semester but for some, it's only 20 and for some, it's 40. It depends on your Lpunest marks. If you are a state topper for you it's different. One of my friends is math olympiad so his fee was 15000 per sem but due to backlogs, his scholarship was decreased. Financial aids are also available for disabled person, orphans, and military/army children so it's different for everyone depending upon the situation and if you want you can see on their website for scholarships.

There are several tech fests happening like startups, fairs, fashion shows and etc. All books related to your subject or not both are available and that's the best thing for students like me. There are so many clubs for different-different things. there are so many sports you can play and if you are in the team so there are so many matches and trophies. Extracurricular activities are totally free to learn which is the best thing you can learn any activity and also perform on stage and they have teachers for that so it's the best thing about LPU. LPU NESS, LPU CSE-heads, Ashray Army etc groups are there and if you want to join them so reach them on Instagram.

I didn't take any hostel meals so not aware of the quality but I heard from my roommates and friends that it's not worth it as they charge more than 30k per year for a regular meal. You can register for hostels on UMS which is the Lpu website for enrolled students. For a four-seater, the cost is 75000 but if you do it in time so 10k is off and as seater counting gets less, the fee increases by 10k. If you don't want to live in the hostel you can come to the law gate which is near LPU. That area is only for students, it's cheap and if you want a good road and pg so you can go to green valley, it's a little expensive for a single person but the road is far better than Law gate's plus security.

I gave the exam of LPUNEST and in 2019 I got the lowest mark so I didn't get a scholarship chance but they also give scholarships based on 10th or 12th marks and above 80 per cent, they provide a 30 per cent scholarship but I was not aware of that so I gave exam on 2020 and I got more than 60 per cent and I got 30 per cent scholarship based on lpunest. You can fill out the application form on lpu's website and they will call you back and can get all the info like fees, dates etc on their website. They provide a helper called an admission officer and he/she helps you in the whole process so it becomes easy.
