Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in machines since childhood and also classical mechanics in physics hence mechanical engineering fascinated me to pursue. Dtu total intake of students per year in btech is 2500 which is a much large figure than the faculty. All faculty members of the university are well-qualified in their respective departments. Teaching methods vary from teacher to teacher.
Internships Opportunities
A variety of internship opportunities are provided to the students of Delhi Technological University from all sorts of interests by different branches. One thing I really like is intership conducted specially for women which is a plus point for women students in the university.
Placement Experience
Placements at Delhi Technological University is well known and start from the end of the seventh semester. A variety of tech companies visit Delhi Technological University every year, more than four hundred plus companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is around 2.5 lacs per year for a bachelor of technology course irrespective of the category of the student, though the scholarship is given under certain criteria, for the initial two years fees are around 2.25 lacs then exceed 2.5 in the final year.
Campus Life
Dtu engifest is considered the largest fest in north India. It is conducted around the month of February every year. Three days tech fest is also conducted during the same month near the annual fest. A variety of books and journals from all categories can be found in the central library of the university.
Admission
Admission to DTU is through jee mains AIR which is conducted twice a year and the application form is released two months prior to the examination. Eligibility criteria are candidate must have Physics Chemistry and Mathematics in +2. Seventy-five percent of seats are reserved for Delhi candidates and the rest for outsiders.
