Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science is well growing and needed of the decade and has high career growth so this is the important reason to choose this course. Faculty: student ratio is around 1:30. They have well-qualified faculty, most of the faculty have done Ph.D., and faculty and student interaction is very friendly, easily able to clear our doubts. Here faculty team here is very supportive.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies offer internships to students from the 6th semester only like Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, etc. with an average stipend of Rs 15000 monthly. Students are provided to do at least 2 projects under the guidance of a mentor provided by the college itself.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, only a student becomes eligible for placements. A large number of companies visit for campus placements like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, etc. The highest package is offered around 25 lakh per annum and the average package is around 4-5 lakhs per annum generally for software development profiles.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I feel the fee structure is quite high but if you consider infrastructure, studies, and placement then it is fine to manage. Various scholarships are provided for eligible students and they have different sections for providing information regarding scholarships if you are eligible. They also say 100% placement so it is somewhat true but for CSE/IT but not for other branches.
Campus Life
No fest at all. They have a central library but again the staff here is not polite and cooperative and during the start of every semester the rush to issue books is high. Infrastructure is well equipped with all modern facilities like smart board etc. classrooms don't have ACs but ventilation is very good so not required. Sport and extracurricular is less focused but they have different departments for these areas.
Hostel Facilities
First-year hostel is better than the other hostel, it has well-ventilated rooms with double and triple-sharing rooms available, and food in the mess is average although cleanliness is maintained and the menu is not fixed. After taking admission to the college you have to pay the hostel fee in the accounts section and then visit the first-year hostel for room allocation.
Admission
Eligibility Criteria- For B.Tech admission candidate must have passed 12th with PCM stream and a valid score card of jee mains exam which is conducted twice a year by CBSE and for that application form is available on jee main.nta.nic.in and its application fees is around Rs.1000. Reservation benefits are provided for reserved candidates such as relaxation in application fees, all India rank, and also in college fees. It needs improvement in guidance in counseling processes, needs more polite administration, and a proper responsive helpdesk.
