Course Curriculum Overview
I do not have any specific interest in mechanical engineering, I opt it because of this college. This college has a very impressive faculty-student ratio, with almost 3 faculties per batch. All faculties are Ph.D. holders or above in their field. There will be two exams in one semester and they are at a moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
Almost all companies come with different roles of tech, non-tech, and core intern profiles. You have to do projects given by these companies in the time period of the internship to complete them with good experience and a rating.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. All MNCs and all companies that hire in India, also hire from DTU. The highest package - is 2.4 crores, the average package - is 20 lac, and 95% of students get placed. I will go for a startup or business as of now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is a little high here as compared to ipu colleges, it will cost you almost 10,00,000 for your complete engineering. But this is a worthy college at this fee. Some scholarships are also there for low-caste students.
Campus Life
The annual fest is ENGIFEST. Biggest cultural fest in north India. There are over 1,00,000 books in the library. There is a big sports complex with all the sports grounds in it. There are societies for every interest you are having like dance, debate, singing, acting, naatak, etc.
Admission
Entrance exam - JEE Mains. 85% of seats are reserved for Delhi people. Admission through JAC Delhi counseling only. Must have a rank under 1,00,000 for Delhi students to get admission. It's the best college in Delhi after IIT Delhi in engineering.
